Hi Big Footy Crew - the stars align for this game so I am keen on going and taking the Mr. Spurs supporter (to hopefully see his first Crows win, and my first live win in Melbourne). What are our chances of getting a ticket on the day? Or should I suck it up and purchase one now. Not a member so restricted on where I can get seats atm, there are a lot less available than what I thought!

I go to maybe one game a year over here so I am pretty terrible at knowing how ticketing works!

You'll get one easily on the day, likely level 4 but even that's a good view.

Can Burgess replace Walker? I am actually really interested in the concept of Murray playing forward. He's quick for his size, a good tackler, likes a species so would crash packs.

Leave Butts where he is and bring in Muz.

Peatling for Murphy

Bond for Smith with Max moving to an attacking role, Hinge on the bench and rotating on wing with Cumming and Curtin

Apart from the Burgess suggestion, I like it

I thought Butts was really good on Friday night, he played his role on Chol as good as anyone could have hoped.

Murray is obviously better but he could experiment forward if needed.

Agree that Butts has been very good since his return & allowed Keane to play his role better.

I wouldn't rush Murray back like last time. Get him match fit in the sanfl as we need him right come the business end

We need to only play Tex when conditions suit & that means replacing him with a smaller player.

Would like to see us persist with Pedlar, but we should also be bringing in other fringe players like Dowling, Taylor & Edwards... but unfortunately goes against Nick's stupid selection policy.

don't have any faith we'll pick a balanced structure though. Butts played well which will flummox us. We'll either leave Murray out and justify by saying he needs a few more miles in the legs or pick a stupid 4 tall structure.

Pretty sure they rate Murray very highly so I doubt they'll leave him out.

I disagree. We look better with him out there. When he came off against Collingwood we were 2 points up. In the next 15 minutes or so of play we went down my 20 points. He's kicked 20 goals with being subbed out and missing a game. He will still kick his 50 if playing every week. I would drop Fogarty before Tex. And I like Fogarty. But if you have to decide between Fogarty by himself or Tex by himself I'm still taking Tex. Fogarty has shown he struggles with the best key defender and benefits from Walker still being out there. People need to stop calling for the end of Tex. He's still doing his job and there's no reason to think he won't keep doing his job.

On Pedlar, Scott Burns (who I dont really rate either) mentioned that at the moment its about getting Luke through this year with a view to building him back up after a run with injury.

They certainly seemed to have one for Curtin (even though none of us agreed with it)... played two games before the bye and the last five games of the season, and hasn't missed one this year.

Just hoping lol. No insider info here (although that's what someone who does have insider info would say).

Nicks had to sub him off, he had about 8 touches in 7 quarters of game time across 2 weeks. He was handy against Brisbane but almost invisible against Hawthorn.

Nicks does love Smith but seems happy for him to stay in the SANFL based on the last 12 months of SANFL time.

Stengle was great for us, really grew as a player but it was the "crushed up neurofen" incident with Brad Crouch which moved him on.
