Hi Big Footy Crew - the stars align for this game so I am keen on going and taking the Mr. Spurs supporter (to hopefully see his first Crows win, and my first live win in Melbourne). What are our chances of getting a ticket on the day? Or should I suck it up and purchase one now. Not a member so restricted on where I can get seats atm, there are a lot less available than what I thought!
I go to maybe one game a year over here so I am pretty terrible at knowing how ticketing works!

Apart from the Burgess suggestion, I like itCan Burgess replace Walker? I am actually really interested in the concept of Murray playing forward. He's quick for his size, a good tackler, likes a species so would crash packs.
Leave Butts where he is and bring in Muz.
Peatling for Murphy
Bond for Smith with Max moving to an attacking role, Hinge on the bench and rotating on wing with Cumming and Curtin

lol, you reckon Edwards is getting a game?I thought Butts was really good on Friday night, he played his role on Chol as good as anyone could have hoped.
Murray is obviously better but he could experiment forward if needed.
There are some spots opening up with Luke Pedlar and Brodie Smith essentially kissing their careers goodbye. Tex looking really average too.
I'm sure we will see Edwards debut with his family watching at the G.
Agree that Butts has been very good since his return & allowed Keane to play his role better.I thought Butts was really good on Friday night, he played his role on Chol as good as anyone could have hoped.

don't have any faith we'll pick a balanced structure though. Butts played well which will flummox us. We'll either leave Murray out and justify by saying he needs a few more miles in the legs or pick a stupid 4 tall structure.
We need to only play Tex when conditions suit & that means replacing him with a smaller player.
Pedlar might be having his career kissed goodbye by Nicks who seems not to have a lot of confidence in him to sub him out instead of Murphy. There are some spots opening up with Luke Pedlar and Brodie Smith essentially kissing their careers goodbye. Tex looking really average too.
You're "sure" ie insider info, or hoping?I'm sure we will see Edwards debut with his family watching at the G.
On Pedlar, Scott Burns (who I dont really rate either) mentioned that at the moment its about getting Luke through this year with a view to building him back up after a run with injury.Pedlar might be having his career kissed goodbye by Nicks who seems not to have a lot of confidence in him to sub him out instead of Murphy.
Smith? Nicks loves him; he's a part of the future of our Club, remember? Same has not been said of Pedlar, whom I can see turning into a good player under a different Coach and better system. Think: Stengle.

At least we have a long term plan for someoneOn Pedlar, Scott Burns (who I dont really rate either) mentioned that at the moment its about getting Luke through this year with a view to building him back up after a run with injury.
TBH I think weve got one for a few younger guys.At least we have a long term plan for someone
I'd play Muzz in Tex's spot. So Edwards or Draper to unfortunately miss.Murphy Tex Smithers out
Draper Edwards Peatling in
Tough call Murray v Butts.
They certainly seemed to have one for Curtin (even though none of us agreed with it)... played two games before the bye and the last five games of the season, and hasn't missed one this year.TBH I think weve got one for a few younger guys.
The club just rarely tells us what that plan might be.
Just hoping lol. No insider info here (although that's what someone who does have insider info would say).Pedlar might be having his career kissed goodbye by Nicks who seems not to have a lot of confidence in him to sub him out instead of Murphy.

You had me agreeing until "Nick's stupid" lol.Agree that Butts has been very good since his return & allowed Keane to play his role better.
I wouldn't rush Murray back like last time. Get him match fit in the sanfl as we need him right come the business end
We need to only play Tex when conditions suit & that means replacing him with a smaller player.
Would like to see us persist with Pedlar, but we should also be bringing in other fringe players like Dowling, Taylor & Edwards... but unfortunately goes against Nick's stupid selection policy.
I think he should. I would be happy for Pedlar but know that we have to back the boyslol, you reckon Edwards is getting a game?
And what’s going to be your opinion if those players aren’t dropped
If you enjoy watching us play I mean sureDoes this already feel like the longest bye in history?

Why is our game before the bye on a Friday & our game after the bye on a Sunday?Does this already feel like the longest bye in history?

Our game after the bye is on a SundayWhy is our game before the bye on a Friday & our game after the bye on a Thursday?
Shouldn't it be reversed?
Bloody typo then autocorect. Meant to say Sunday. Our game after the bye is on a Sunday
You mean the two weeks leading up to it?
To be fair most of us probably turned off the game against Hawthorn given how painful it was to watch, so it feelsDoes this already feel like the longest bye in history?
