we r there till our season endsI wonder what the settlement / transition date arrangements are?
Are we staying at Waverley for the remainder of the season or moving soon?
Yeah Wayne Jackson got what he deserved. Waverley should have never stopped being an AFL venue.I hope we screwed those campaigners at AFL House...
Herald Sun reporting that the price of the sale was in the vicinity of 20 million dollars, although I wont believe that figure until it's formaly disclosed by the club.I hope we screwed those campaigners at AFL House...
The Age are saying we didn't get near the $20m price tag.Herald Sun reporting that the price of the sale was in the vicinity of 20 million dollars, although I wont believe that figure until it's formaly disclosed by the club.
I guessed that may be the case. The Age are saying we didn't get near the $20m price tag.

Still a great return on their initial $1 investment.Said it was still believed to be an eight figure deal though - so at least $10M.
I find this type of person to be quite interesting. Smart enough to write a comprehensible comment with correct spelling and grammar. Even used “bought” correctly! And yet the idea they’re conveying in their comment is so cooked.Love the comments on The Age website - so many salty flogs. Best is this little Saints pissant who has moaned about this zoning thing in dozens of Hawthorn related articles. This is what supporting St Kilda does to your brain:

Agree. Good invesment. $1M per flag, assuming we don't win this yearWe paid $4.1m for the gym in 2007. Wise investment.
it was sold for 15 mill to the AFL
Did we accept under to accommodate the AFL ?
The asking price was 20 mill
I've noticed going through Facebook comments and the like, that nobody seems to understand this. Some of the reporting has not made it clear that Mirvac bought Waverley Park from the AFL. Hawthorn subsequently acquired the oval and grandstand from Mirvac for a reported $1.
Hawthorn did not buy Waverley from the AFL.
And the fact that we have spent money to make the facilities betterI've noticed going through Facebook comments and the like, that nobody seems to understand this.
