need to beat melb, richmond and stkilda as a min

anything less is a failure
anything more is a bonus
Well after that loss for mine they now need to beat Richmond and stkilda And then somehow get 1 other upset to get a pass this year

Can’t see it happening

Without Xerri the run home just got infinitely tougher.
Tougher?

Xerri has singlehandly held us together this year - the only guy under 30 showing any type of on field leadership on a consistent basis.

We have lost what - 8 games now by 6 goals or more?

The most likely scenario without Xerri is that we unravel completely over the next 3 weeks - an aggregate loss over the 3 games of 200 points or so.

The fact that we don't have a Tom Campbell type back up ruckman is just another failure of list management - the equivalent of an EPL side without a back up goalkeeper.

In hindsight a great move by Jen and the team to bring forward the 100 celebrations - having them against Geelong in this environment would have been problematic at best. Perhaps they could see what was developing.

I can't see North winning a game while Xerri is out.
Goldstein at 38 is better than your next Ruckman.

With Xerri, North should beat the tigers, for their last win of the year. but it doesn't really matter as Tigers have Norths first anyway.

There is no way we will win a game for the rest of the year

We haven't improved as all those great close performances didn't get us out of the bottom 4 for the 6th year in a row

What a ****ing waste of a year IMO apart from seeing the players like Colby, FOS, Hardeman, Harvey play etc but they only played due to injury which is groundhog day. Want to guarantee they will be "norfed" next year when they continue to be around this nice and easy environment at our club and will just become a plodder or a average player.

Would love to see us win against saints and Richmond but i can't see it. I can see us putting the cue in the rack already.

There is no benefit at all to put the cue in the rack when Tigers have your first round pick.
Tigers game will be big as far as match against two clubs and lots of young players playing. See who has the better chance of turning it around quicker. Would be a bitter pill to swallow losing to tigers and then watching them take pick 2+3 to the draft.

A win over Saints would be a surprise, genuinely feel they are a bit better than where they are ranked on the ladder. they should be comfortably ahead of Essendon.

Saints last 4
v Melbourne 50/50
v North win
v Richmond win
v Essendon win
v Giants loss

3 wins likely takes saints to 12th
If saints lose them all they could be as low as 17th, but would be tanking IMO

I know we have a whole thread potting your blokes, but this needlessly cruel.

No benefit no, but not like the players give a shit what draft pick we have.
