Percentage is important, it always is. And they’ve shat the bed tonight because they’re already down on that score.

Kingsley will be absolutely raging. If he’s not then he’s not going to be a premiership coach. They’ve potentially given up ladder positions by settling for an eight goal win when there was a 15-20 goal win on offer.

AFL is meant to be professional, but so many teams show themselves to be unprofessional across the season - even the ones who make finals. Tonight was another example

There is a semblance of a point in here, but it's not worthy of the all-out rage. They've dropped games they shouldn't have this season, that's why they're not top 4.

You're correct that every good team in the comp treats games like tonight the same way GWS has - about 90% of the time anyway. For the other 10%, they put the foot down for 3 quarters and slow to a crawl for the last quarter.
