Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Folks, hate to be the bearer of bad news, but I’ve got another unfortunate #Bluemour to share.

This comes from the same source who correctly flagged a few weeks back that Charlie was open to a move — and that info turned out to be spot on (regardless of his post match comments about wanting to stay - Ala Houston etc).

I can now confirm two things:

• SOS is definitely gone, and
• Cripps also wants out. He’s looking to finish his career in WA and doesn’t seem fussed about which club takes him — though West Coast looks like the obvious frontrunner.

Personally think he’s earned the right to go with our blessing at this point.

Given the source’s track record and recent form, I’m confident this Cripps part is legit. Expect it to go public in the coming weeks.

Meh - doubt it, especially after Cripps speech this week on standing up in “difficult times”.

Its interesting, I'd love to know exactly what Vossy is like behind closed doors.

I’m not panicking at all.
For me, it’s not who we lose, it’s what we replace them with.
If players want to ‘jump ship’, maybe they’re been identified as being part of the problem. They did develop under the ‘winning doesn’t matter’ culture under Bolton after all.
All our ‘stars’ are contracted, so if other teams want then, come at us. We have the upper hand.
Will get whatever compo for TDK and JSOS, so can either use that in ready made talent or gun kid.
Can easily turn this around very quickly if we’re calculated and calm, not panicking and crying for ‘full blown rebuilds’ like so many are doing.

Hard to know what to believe at this point but I think we can say with near certainty that TDK and JSOS are gone. We’ll get band one compensation for TDK and hopefully JSOS’ value is bid up by the dogs. My feeling is one more “star” will go but it’ll be on our terms due to them being contracted.

Would love to be a fly on the wall to understand the Wright influence on all this. I wonder if he’s identified elements of the playing group as problematic (in addition to other issues such as coaching) and is subtlety driving some towards the exits. Hard to know but it makes for the most interesting trade period in recent memory.
