I'm the problem, it's me.I have a water bottle on my work desk. I think it's around 800 mL and I fill it up a couple of times a day. If I am at home I will just use a glass.
I do find it curious that people lug around those giant water bottles that hold over 2 litres. Don't mean to humblebrag about the size of my house but the kitchen is maybe 8 metres away. Not exactly crossing the desert with Moses just to get a drink. What are these people preparing for? A 1.9L Yeti bottle is $150 and keeps drinks cold for days. Can only imagine how handy that is in an office environment.
I have a 2L monstrosity from My Mate Dug, granted it was a gift and we used the bonus little waterbottle for my eldest for school, but I find it handy to hit my goal of drinking roughly 2L of water a day by filling in the morning. With some ice and the insulation I have crispy water all day long. I left it in the car last year when we were at Santa's Wonderland and even after 4hr in the baking sun the ice hadn't melted, and that pleased me.
Pain in the ass to lug around? 100%, that's why at work in the office I just use a 600ml bottle I got from a takeaway meal deal sometime in the past few months.
