Butters looks pretty banged up to me alreadyButters is a jet. The only thing I would say is that at his size and his combative style, this might shorten his prime.
Nas looks like he's got 350-plus elite games written all over him.

Who said it’s capped at 1.4? Tom Morris said it was the biggest juiciest offer St KildaProblem with SOS is he gets tunnel visioned on what he thinks is right and wrong.
He left GWS and was obsessed with taking from them what he had picked.
Leaves carlton because he thinks its unfair to spend more on betts and not offer more to existing players.
Then leaves Carlton and suddenly we are a new home for all the Carlton players he likes.
So Im not surprised the news is nas is capped at 1.4m a year for 2 years. Whilst tdk gets the greatest offer in st kilda history at 1.7m a year for 7.
He's absolutely toxic.
But the thing is any decent board or executive would step in and end this shit. Its been left to fester way too long and now its past the point of intervention.
Sadly we still don't have the leadership we deserve.
Then the trade shouldn't get done, there's no way we can allow ourselves to take unders. I'm sorry - it's on Port to maneuver around and come up with value.
Correct purely because he would sign before TDK would given the list lodgement.Who said it’s capped at 1.4? Tom Morris said it was the biggest juiciest offer St Kilda
Has ever offered
Agree has to mum. Be interested in why or who Terry returned to Adelaide for.If NAS is truly just wanting to go home, he’ll go to Adelaide because if he goes to port they’re going to have to move Bergman and some quality picks when they’re in desperate need of rebuilding. Outside of 5 players the have arguably the worst list in the competition.
If he does go to Port then he’s not serious about winning.
One reason why the signing may be delayed is that he doesn’t want to leave St Kilda, and he’s going to need to sit down with his family and tell them that at the end of the season. It’s his mum that’s dragging him home.
It feels like a line in the sand moment though. They need to get us at least two top ten picks surely? It's up to them to do it. Their future firsts are useless. If the trade doesn’t get done we lose him for nothing
Reading this again, his report is about "advice" Nas hasn't even been told yet? And with no knowledge or insight into what Nasiah is thinking or feeling towards any club. Just that someone - potentially with a link Adelaide - is going to tell him to pick Adelaide.
GoneHave just been told not to expect an announcement any time soon, he’s told the club he won’t make a decision until end of season. Read into that what you will but it doesn’t fill me with confidence.
Terry returned because his wife (Nas mum) had been very sick multiple times in their time in Melbourne, it must have been serious for him to give up his AFL career.Agree has to mum. Be interested in why or who Terry returned to Adelaide for.
G Train wanted Collingwood....He may not be given a choice.
Losing him for nothing also opens the risk of him being sent to WA, or to another team. Which is something I’d love to see.It feels like a line in the sand moment though. They need to get us at least two top ten picks surely? It's up to them to do it. Their future firsts are useless.
Honestly I'd rather just lose him for nothing and actually stand for something than take the shit that is on offer. I know it probably won't happen but we need to be willing to let it happen.
...or he signs with Saints for 2 years. If the trade doesn’t get done we lose him for nothing
Honestly, I'd feel like giving upI will say this, if he nominates to leave then we will be the biggest losers in history from this ridiculous system where players nominate a club and force us to deal with them.
On the open market we'd get a kings ransom for Nas but we have to take some crap picks or let him walk to the draft.
The system is basically designed to **** over small clubs like ours. We are supposed to rely on loyalty but that appears to be dead.
If he leaves I just don't know where we go as a club. Just have to hope Pou is the next Nas I guess with his 2030 deal.
If you can't read its not my fault. It is simple, but obviously to complicated for you. Understandable as you haven't much of a grip on most things. What are you on about!?!?!?
Go back and look at the carry on with battle in the rooms with his kids and his team mates bringing in their kids in membrey and Jones.
I quit cigarettes years ago, but if he re-signs I’m lighting one up. Not in celebration, just for the fact that this whole saga has f**ked me good. This week started with a thread declaring "Naz gives his biggest hint yet that he’s staying" and now everyone's burning his guernsey and saying he's dead to us. Despite absolutely nothing changing from when that thread was posted.
I just want this to be over. Even if you're going to break our hearts, for the love of god Nas, just tell us now. I'm headed for an early grave the way this is currently playing out.
...or he signs with Saints for 2 years.
Far easier than saying **** you to mates/everyone that has supported him here...no risk...huge contract.
Probably gets there in 2 years anyway.
If he shits down the throat of people here that have bent over backwards for him, then he belongs at piss adelaide.
Yep manager is the flog of all flogsWilliams I guess?
But that was always gonna happen - Adelaide-based manager with SA clients, of course he has a duty to stay in the good books of Adelaide and Port, for the sake of his business.
He was always going to suggest that route, same way he did with JHF. He made Port happy in that deal, and couldn't give a stuff if North were pissed with him. Same thing happening here.
Butters looks pretty banged up to me already
If he did that his “brand” would be permanently toxic.Would still be in real awkward for him to get up there unsigned and give the classic
“I love the club and want to be here to build something special”
And then requests a trade the next day
