Still going on about your discredited video narrative ? Like I said your default setting is to be negative.
What ever floats your boat sport.
Your default setting is delusional rants with nasty aggressive snipes at anyone who challenges the clubs company line
And stop calling people sport like it’s a 1960s episode of skippy

I presume the incident has no been shown from all angles in Slo Mo.
So did Newcombe run past the ball to take out Howie and therefore has something to answer for? Or was it an accidental hit.
It was an accident. We are not Melbourne supporters.

We said last week
They should have tried Moore forward or ruck because he couldn’t be any worse down back
He was even worse
Shoulda done the old switcheroo, you reckon? Put our tall backs forward, and our tall forwards back?

He’s the only one I actually thought this with. I said rest him for the game after the bye against st kilda to have 2 weeks to get himself right.

If we are going to give contracts to blokes too old to play without needing to be rested and managed a few times, don’t give them contracts for next year then. This model has not worked.
We have too many that needs rest, it's not sustainable. It affects our structure, for, momentum- just about everything. It's going to get worse next year. If they play finals in June we may win, but we can't be competitive over a full season. Age catches up with everyone no matter who you are.

So... how is everyone doing this morning?
Working from home. Completed the school drop off, got a McCafe coffee, got spotify going. I'm not listening about or watching any footy on the weekend, so the weekend should be a good one. Looking forward to it....

P.S l will come on here though if l need to continue venting....

I don't see the issue as being offfield stuff. Why does it have to be that we made too many changes resting players, or got too happy with 14 wins or contracts are an issue? Those things could be an issue, but I just think we're too slow and play safe around the boundary to minimize getting burnt from turnover which means we can't really score. We seem to want to keep the ball moving with tap ons etc at times, but don't have the leg speed to benefit from it. The opening goal from Watson where Moore tapped the ball on rather than taking possession is a perfect example of this.

It's hard because we were very daring under Fly in 2022-23, and you hold out hope that we could get back to that, but I guess the coaching team doesn't think we can play that kind of football anymore. The only positive at this point is that finals can often become a grind which might suit the style we are playing at the moment.

13 players of the 23 yesterday, have played the past 5 games. This broken continuity is an issue for sure.
Injuries happen. Managing on top of injuries, it's been too much. You need to just play best 23 you can field every week.

or you rest your most important players when you face the weakest opposition, you dont rest or manage players against other finals contenders. why we were resting players against GC and Freo when we had Richmond the week after baffles me
We had of banked those games, we wouldnt be in this position now, would have locked up a top 2 spot

its been an absolute clusterfk

honestly, i wouldnt be surprised if we didnt win another game for the year
hope im wrong
just the trend has been there for months, and its getting more exposed by the week

If we play the same style against Melbourne, we 100% won't win. Gawn will kill us if we keep pointing to where we want to kick the ball exiting our backline. Good chance he takes 30+ marks

1. Collingwood player points where he is going to kick

2. Hawks defender goes where the Collingwood player points and intercepts

3. Collingwood player is shocked
