I don't think that's the way the MRO and the AFL see these things anymore.So many salty peeps wanting a Hawks player to get suspended. Laughable.
Went to tackle, arms down, no jumping, no shoulder charge/bump, slowed down etc. Did everything correctly and nothing wrong.
Just an unfortunate accident.

The May one was all about not entering a contest more carefully. Basically, you're not allowed to attack a contest a full speed if someone is coming the other way.
Like with May, if they run into you and they get hurt, for some reason it's the fault of the guy that didn't get hurt.
There is absolutely zero chance the AFL don't apply the same logic her and suspended Duke for 3 weeks.
As much as it sucks and how stupid the logic is, it's just how the AFL adjudicate it.
"May ran a sufficient distance and had sufficient time with an unimpeded view of what was before him to determine what he could and should do in the likely event he did not reach the ball first or at the same time."
Basically you're expected to know that a clash will occur, and show a duty of care to avoid it. Apparently.
