Broadbeach ought to easily account for Coorparoo.
Redlands to get a touch-up from Morningside.
Sherwood will fall to Noosa.
Aspley to hold out against Surfers - potentially the closest margin.
I'm picking Grange despite in a candid convo earlier tonight suggesting Maroochydore ought to be slight favourites.

Quite a few missing for Morningside this week. Aston, Greenaway, Wason all playing VFL. Downie, Hodge, Lovig, Castle, McDonagh, Dadds also out. It will be a good win if they can get over Redlands today.

If you’d told me 7 weeks ago that Broadbeach would make finals let alone having a home final I’d have thought it was no real chance. Congrats to them.

Surfers remain a real deal winning over Aspley.
Lagging Behind , I posted a few weeks ago that Broady will make the finals ,, can you believe they were 1 win and 6 losses ,
Alot of turmoil resulting in the termination of the senior coach yes,, but what a turn around,
Not to mention our half back line at seasons start would read Boake ( Grogan winner ) , Nickalus ( gun ) and Jellyman-Turner ( co captain and priemership player ) has not eventuated as we lost Boake before seasons beginning with a ACL , and the other 2 have been missing for most of the season as well due to injury, This is one of the best half back lines in the comp so a huge loss .
Great comeback from the players and the club and we will be dangerous come finals time

Results have been impressive. What has the fill in coach done to turn it around?

I believe the prior coach was very abusive toward s players resulting in no confidence and morale from the playing group .Also the prior coach s methods were not conductive to the QAFL style of footy ,, Thats all I know ,thus cannot make comment on the current coach,,, I see we have advertised for the Senior Coachs Position for 2026 .

Jack Austin clearly BOG today for Sherwood. Noosa clearly were undermanned and a rather scrappy game. Both teams a fair way off the mark and it showed today. Good win from Sherwood either way. Henry Cox a standout in the two’s as well, might be building some depth down at Powenyenna Oval.

Yeah was always going to be tough for Noosa with no Conn,McNiece,Gaul,Byrne and Pettigrove(they’d be easily the top 5 players in the B and F count) not play due to injury but a gutsy effort all the same and well done to Sherwood on their win.We rarely win down there and just ran out of steam today.Really disappointing end after a much improved season but know we have some good colts and below coming through so plenty to look forward to and think we are in the right path!

Ominous & comprehensive score line with Redlands over Morningside with bookends Hammelman & Williams, plus Malone in ruck, named in the best.

Just a few weeks ago Palmy looked the standout and I’m sure they’ll reset for a big finals campaign but I’m liking the recent form of Surfers & Broady.

Gonna be a cracker finals series.

Round 20 vs Labrador could be an elimination final.

I reckon there has been a change of tack at Broady.

They have been playing with an average of 36 points since the coach was punted.
Lots of talented young fellas getting senior games under their belt in the last half of the season.

The last few games they have been without both of their senior rucks due to VFL duties also.

Broady have a few of the top teams looking over their shoulders, but Surfers playing good footy at the right time of year for mine.

Saw they advertised for a new coach for 2026 stuyd. Surely the incumbent would be a show or doesn’t he want to do it? Has obv done really well since taking over

I heard him speak during maroochy game and in Q4 sat over near the coaches box. The box seemed really organised and lots of player led directions and organisation on field. Was pretty impressive. Obv some really good onfield leaders to assist but just seemed like a good set up.
