Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Moir coming has nothing to do with Kemp.

Moir is a long term Williams replacement. Kemp is a third tall option if both Harry and Charlie are fit. If anything, Moir coming in is potentially pushing out someone like Fog.

Agree with this. Provided the new forwards coach can devise a set up where each forward is played to their strength and not 4 blokes jumping at the one ball

Get a forwards coach who knows about leading lanes and how to use them, as well as a midfield/transition coach who can get out guys lowing their eyes looking for the leading lanes.

Thought Kemp's best work in his short time this year was apply pressure up forward.

Kemp would be playing the Pearce roll I reckon. He can work up and down the ground really well doing the link up role as well as being a target up forward when needed. Having Harry, Charlie, Kemp, and Moir in our forward line will suddenly stop teams double and triple teaming Harry and Charlie.

So long as we stop trying to bomb it into the forward line on their heads.

I’d say no. We’ll be looking at guys like Sam Paea, Ethan Phillips, or DGB to fill in next year and fill the hole while we wait for Dean to finish developing, and HOF coming back from his ACL.

If I was coaching, Curnow, McKay, Kemp and Moir would be my locks for the forward line, happy to let the others go. I would be recruiting Darcy Hogg and putting him in a serious running program. Williams and possibly Hollands fully fit are decent quality, the rest I don't rate at all.

I try not to look back personally, and I don’t want to ruin a conversation…
He also said he’s got a passion for coaching, wants to start off coaching kids in junior footy…so I naturally said Strathmore would have him everyday of the week and twice on Sundays.
He said he’d like to give back to his junior club which is West Coburg.
So any West Coburg fans on here, snap him up when he actually does retire

But has been very ordinary for a senior player.Loses his man a lot and sometimes just pulls out of contests or slows up.

Kemp looked a lot better as part of the forward line early this year than he did in the backline.

Don’t like Brodie Kemp as a defender at all. Forward or would like to see him trialled on the wing (Achilles injury may not assist that).

However he’s another one required in the (many, many, many) extra skills work sessions for his kicking, both field and at goal.
