I think anyone of the top 4 can win.

EM beaten CH twice
CH beaten HP twice
Highett beaten EM twice
HP beaten EM twice
CH touched up Highett

Bad injury to EM player on saturday, wasnt sure who. Looking forward to following finals, anything can happen.

Springvale will suit EM's and Highett's youth and game style's. Fast and wide, expect them to run over teams late.

Highett are favs for me.
What if Highett lose this week and don’t get double chance? Long way back from 4th position…..think they can do it but still would have CH vs HP in the play off

Massive come from behind win by Highett. 5 goals to 1 in last q. East Malvern miss double chance by 1 goal.
That 1 goal will have massive bearings on the remainder of the season. Effectively can’t see EM winning 4 games now in a row against tight competitive teams.
Still reckon the winner of next weeks CH vs Highett Qualifying final will be favourites. Have my doubts over the Redbacks. The large Springvale ground will suit Highett youth and run….my query with them is will they get bullied around the contest from more mature bodies. Time will tell.

Four of the top five sides have already had Division 1 experience since Covid, and with Hampton Park on the rise this shapes as a fascinating finals series. If they don’t grab it this year, they might as well put the feet up in 2026—because from all reports Cranbourne will recruit heavily and be every bit as strong as Brighton in ’23 or Beena in ’24.
Doveton has re appointed their coach for next season, which is interesting because they fired the previous coach after making a grand final so seems like a bit of politics in the background by a poorly run outer east team.
Caulfield bears appointment of Dunn has not improved the clubs position at all after 3 seasons too.

Is Dunn going around again?
Caulfield, I agree haven't improved much and just stagnated.
Arguably has gone downhill this year. No finals for Caulfield this year. Doesn't help he isnt there to Coach/play half their games due to his duties with Collingwood VFL.

No surprise doveton resigning their coach is his dad still the president? 🤔 Cranbourne won’t lose a game next year!
