If he has chosen the crows they can easily manufacture 3 firsts of value. Harder for us I would say without some sacrifical decisions.
What are 3 firsts of value? Tassie are in the 3rd year. Saints would surely want 2 top 10s atleast.

Ryan Burton was signed for another 3 seasons IIRC when he was traded out to Port.
It's not out of the realms of possibility.
This could be the Crows sliding door moment. Are they ruthless enough to trade out a favourite son if it comes to it?

I think the list of untouchables would be the following. The Crows will provide a list of untouchables.
Saints will ask a question.
Someone highly rated will get a tap on the shoulder from the Crows and will likely be shown the door.
The same thing happened to Ryan Burton. Was happy at the Hawks (although there were rumblings he would likely be on the move back to SA at some point) but when he knew he was being offered for Wingard he got the hint and made his move.
None of those players want to go to st kilda and no club us going to force them to. Gee whiz this board resembles an idiocy room at times.
It will be 2/3 first rounders and Victorian fringe players that actually WANT to go home for opportunity-guys like Edwards, Ryan, nankervis, Taylor etc. Maybe someone like Berry if st kilda can turn his head but it certainly won't be guys like rachele or soligo-thats fantasy land NBA crap.
Why would the saints accept some fringe operator? Talk about idiocy...
Not fantasy land at all. Very strange post here.
Geez.. I’d have Fog on that list before Milera.. In fact I actually wouldnt have milera on it at all TBH..I think the list of untouchables would be the following.
Thilthorpe
Rankine
Dawson
Worrell
Curtin
Soligo
Rachele
Michelanny
Milera
No one is pretending. We are saying it doesn't really matter.Adelaide first rounders are not valuable first rounders.
Lets not go the next however many weeks pretending they are.
Dangerfield was the same. The interesting thing to come out of this is NWMs personality and character.
A poster on here told me about how someone at the Crows spoke to him about chasing Nas. Apparently he is a very independent person who won't make a decision based on his family or friends, but rather what he thinks is best for himself.
Seeing him being so emotional with the Saints players and coaches after their amazing win, yet he is able to separate that from his decision to leave is quite telling. Normally if a player is leaving they tend to distance themselves from the team a bit, but not Nas. He has ice running through his veins.
Hes quite an interesting dude.
Because he is out of contract and they have no choice.
And no one is going to want to leave the Crows at all-let alone for st kilda of all places-unless they are struggling to get a game.
Your post is stupid because you are not understanding the reality. This is not the NBA.
Dude we get it, everyone gets it, you’re yapping every 5 seconds being rude to everyone. People know it’s a load of a crap, doesn’t mean that can’t say that it should be fair value trade and that they want certain things.Because he is out of contract and they have no choice.

None of that is a stkilda issue.Because he is out of contract and they have no choice.

Except it does.No one is pretending. We are saying it doesn't really matter.
In that case why offer a first at all? Just offer us a future third, we will have to take it as we have no choice.I'm not trying to be rude. And honestly I feel really sorry for st kilda supporters as they keep losing good players and it must be awful.
But I can't stand the idiocy of posters from other clubs (they aren't emotionally involved like st kilda people are) who should know well enough to know what they are saying never happens in the real world. It's like they are being dense on purpose.
Please don’t use common sense. In that case why offer a first at all? Just offer us a future third, we will have to take it as we have no choice.
Good name for a strip club?Sinn is on the table.
Every team does the same thing.
You think clubs dont pursue a possible player because they sat there and looked at what they had to trade?
Nah, all clubs go for the players they want and need.
Just look at hawthorn. Its reported they are into both Harley Reid and Butters, knowing both will cost a fortune.
Agree. I get a feeling he has very high ambitions for himselfThe interesting thing to come out of this is NWMs personality and character.

Danger was coming off the death of Phil.Dangerfield was the same.
I'm fine with clubs pursuing good players, I'm just bemused by the number of Port and Crows supporters digging their heels in on the concept of trading one of their good players back.
If Port are serious about trading for a generational player, are they really going to let negotiations fall apart over someone like Bergman? Nothing against the bloke, I'd love to have him on the Saints, but I know which I'd prefer.
Yes, I am aware that Nas is out of contract, and yes I am aware this puts St Kilda over the barrel, but the whole "take it or leave it" attitude to pursuing arguably the best young player in the game is well past obnoxious.
Thankfully it's just been coming from supporters from said clubs so far, not the clubs themselves. If Port or the Crows come in hot to with that attitude, offering scraps for generational talent, then Nas won't be playing in South Australia next year and they certainly won't be making any friends with trading partners or AFL house.
I also wonder how Nas would feel finding out the team that wants him, and has courted him into coming home, then refuse to offer a worthy deal to get it done.
. They are going to have get used to the idea that they are going to have to part with a good player.
