That's one way of describing SCG crowds. I would say they lack passion.
Absolutely, we were saying this today, it’s as if they don’t really understand the game. It’s the weirdest atmosphere when you don’t have the BALL screams so familiar with Pies Tiggs Essendon (especially) and the SA teams. Today 99% of the game was played down their silent members wing. Swans fans are the least rabid. Even when one of our crew spilled a beer over a small red child they were apologising.

I don't think there is going to be a real selection headache barring injury - I cannot see the blokes who are currently out, getting back in.
On Fox, I think it was King banging on about Geelong having Duncan, Guthrie and Kolo playing in the VFL like they were challenging for spots. Unless we have awful injuries it’s not happening. Who does he think we’d drop?

Agreed... Feels like that was our best team. Bowes/Martin both flexible sub options... Likely Bowes.

Kolo coming from too far back.
Duncan depth at best.
Guthrie cooked
Conway never fit.
Henry... passed easily by Martin.
Bruhn...Who? Honestly think even if fit/avail he'd struggle to get a game now, being so one-dimensional.
Clohesy/Clark/Knevitt/Stevens... not better than guys in the team already.

I cracked up laughing while he was talking about that - it really seemed like he had nothing else to say and simply wanted to hear his own voice rather than contributing anything of value to the games

Big Shannon is tracking unbelievably.

Same age, Tom Hawkins in 2011. We know what Hawk did in that GF, and Neale is in far, far better form than Hawk was back then. Get ready for him to explode in the finals!

IMO Henry does get in on talent, but just not in 2025. The guy needs the re-set of a massive preseason and perhaps a slightly change of role.

That is amazing, exactly what I was trying to put across about their Sheet hole ground. Best bloody coach in the land, pulls no punches. Name another coach who exposes the difficulties so honestly yet passively enough to not get AFL butt kicked. Champion gaslighter 😂 and correct.

Really Kolo only comes back in if there is an injury, ditto Duncan off HBF, Guthrie left his VFL run too late, Conway done for the season, Henry only comes in for Dangerfield or Martin if injured or suspended, Bruhn MIA, and those last 4 on the list only come in if someone goes out for injury as I doubt anyone gets dropped for form.
And of that 4 its likely either Clohesy or Clark.

Just enjoying the mega multiple tall setup now with Neale, Cameron and Blicav's now playing extra switch in tall forward, all athletic types who are able to run with our small brigade, it's shaping up well for the finals.
Btw, how good is this bloke Mannagh, and whoever recruited him was a recruit genius.

This was tweeted just 2 weeks ago - interesting omission from the list...

And for those playing at home, Neale had kicked 51 goals from his first 38 games, but according to a few comments "he's not at the same level" as those on this list...

That sucks if it's a broken ankle - never wish serious injury on anyone

Wonder if we rest Henry - subbed out two weeks in a row, maybe go the safe option of a break before finals

I was thinking that. Maybe managing Henry or O'Sullivan's has had a big load. Richmond dont have any established forwards except lynch so do you rest one of them? That could give bews or Duncan the farewell game.

I agree. You could make a case for Duncan bews or kolo (cuthrie is cooked) or even Henry but none is playing finals unless we get injuries (as a pose to a farewell game this week).

Wells pinched mannagh before freo a few other clubs could take him. Sliding doors.

This was posted earlier this month when Morris had played 38 games.
Neale played his 38th today I think, that’s why he’s not on the list.

Also on Sydney fans, I was at that Nick Davis 2005 SF amongst the roaring Swans crowd.
Yes they enjoyed giving me stick but it wasn’t abusive and they were so damn friendly after the game.

Today was Neale's 42nd game and he's now kicked 65 goals

After 38 games he had kicked 51 goals
