He’s got heavenly sources….Where did you hear this, chief?

No, I am not his grandma…before any one of you beauts ask…I really hope you win a flag soon. My grandma is 94 and is a die hard Saint so I have a very soft spot for you guys.

how much then mate?About as equally useless as your figures
I agree. Not writing him off but we need to keep looking for tall backs. If he progresses than great, but if not we have continued to try to find our next fullback. In a minority but not sold on Caminiti down back. I think the experience though will help him enormously for his forward play.
If all 4 of them are best 22 this time next year we probably didn't have a successful 2026Going to be interesting to see if we can fit all of Steele, Macrae, Wood and Hill in the same team next year. With lot's of youngsters coming through they are really going to need to deliver. Can't be walk up starts anymore.
This year we got it right….![]()

Have put the figures down a dozen times, not doing it again. Go back and find them.how much then mate?
Interested to know your opinion
Disagree, Steele and Macrae are both AA, Hill still runs harder than anyone in the team, Wood is the only one probably as depth. If all 4 of them are best 22 this time next year we probably didn't have a successful 2026
Tauru was good today unless you’re a stat watcherTauru 3 kicks, 2 marks, -1 metres gained. We must be getting an upgrade.
Yawn.

I was also for Reid as well.....Middle Park boy as well so close to home. Anyway, it didn't happen but I think Trav shows some good signs...Agree, it was an unreal draft for us overall. I think Trav has shown some great signs, I just wanted Reid really badly.
Will have to get over it..
I don't doubt his effort for one minute he just always seems to be where the ball ain't - maybe he needs to position himself in better spaces, doesn't read the ball that well???You may not have seen on the TV but he chased from our forward line all the way up to the wing at one point.

Definitely looked like he was on Sharman for the most part of it. Started next to him at the first centre bounce and was with him more than anyone else when the ball went forward.Aleer didn’t play directly on Sharman all day.
He was out marked on Sharman and then a little Later on he was out marking Keeler
If the figures out there are vaguely correct, 5x800k at Norf vs 2x600k at the Saints, then imo you have to question our judgement. If he chooses either Norf or Dees over us then you have to question his judgement tbh.

There’s no room for him up forwardWho knows if Aleer even gets a game but there’s no doubt we need some key defender support. I think Caminiti ends up forward long term but at least if he needs to go there short term we’ve got some other options instead of being so Howard reliant.
One thing we don’t have is a long term 200cm defender which I think we’re going to need coming up against Sam Darcy, Thilthorpe, Ben King etc. That needs to be on the shopping list.
