I’m 100% in on trading Charlie if we can get a break even scenario, naturally prefer to “win” the trade, but if he does not want to he here and we can trade for need and can land elite runners / users I’m all in. If you don’t want to be here, there’s the door mate. Butters would be a dream, a nice little combo of Hayward and Lizard, or Papley + a first and second. They are not giving up one of the big 3, but I think there could be other workable options.

Another click bait journalist then
Trying to make a name for himself, he's just a fan involved in co-hosting a podcast, a cheap hire for SEN.

He’s not impressed with us letting Marchy go….

Surely its a joke, but if not....Boo ****ing hoo. Marchbank had plenty of time on our list but his body was shot. Can't afford to carry injury riddled players anymore. Charlie should know that if he wants to win a flag with us, you can't continue to carry players that sit out half or more of their games with us. The best ability is availability.

Not sure anyone should be listening to Caro. She just guesses and for some reason it triggers people. She has no idea

I detest Caro but 99% of ‘intel’ journos get are through player managers.

This Charlie talk is without doubt being fed & driven by Robbie D’Orazio (Curnow’s manager).

He’s almost certainly the source. As he would have been for Tom Morris when he went with it a month ago.

I reckon Charlie’s angling for a new deal, a higher paying deal (he’s seeing his mate and less talented teammate just sign a $1.7m / 8yr deal) hence why he’s become infatuated with Sydney who have a big chequebook…

Unfortunately for Charlie and his manager Robbie, Carlton have a signed contract for the next four years. Too bad Charles. End of discussion. Move on. Pre-training starts in 8 weeks. See you then.

p.s pretty ordinary behaviour from a bloke in the leadership group.

Yes the contract length protects the Club but we cant simply have players that dont want to be there, nuffs enuff. He MUST be moved on BUT clubs wanting to secure his services need to cough up big time. My view on Charlie is not popular amongst my fellow Bluebaggers but IDGAF. My eyes see what they see, It's not personal, its business.

Charlie is great, he’s talented, we ALL want him to be a champion that leads Carlton to greatness.

Evidence to date is he’s ELITE for talent. Adequate for drive. Lacking for leadership. Results reflect this… can win Coleman’s going at 8/10, but can’t find 10/10 when it’s hard. Can’t find 6/10 when it’s hard, actually.

For the right price I’d sell.

And I’d tell him that to see if he has the fight to stay.
