Don’t pretend you’re not jealous of all our Colemans, Brownlows and Gary Ayres Medals.

We’ve got more silverware since 2020 than any other club.

Personally I think “premierships” are a dated measure of success.

That was the pitch that saw vossy keep his job, although he took it a step further and argued that "wins" are outdated.

I'm hearing that Jagga Smith didn't actually do his knee. It's strategic planning focussed on the things that matter. They just wanted him to be a year older to maximise his chance of winning the Rising Star.

Jagga 2026 rising star lock
Cody Walker 2027 rising star lock
Walshy fit and ready to go for the 2026 brownlow
And McKay easily wins the 2026 coleman once we get Charlie out of the way.

Most silverware in the business.

Go blues.

I thought no way.. interesting... if Colemans, Brownlows, Gary Ayres Medals, Norm Smith and Premierships are the criteria and are equal weighting:

Carlton 6 (2021-2023 Coleman, 2022 and 2024 Brownlow, 2023 Gary Ayres)
Geelong 5 (2020 and 2025 Coleman, 2022 Norm Smith, 2022 Gary Ayres, 2022 Premiership)
Brisbane 5 (2024 Gary Ayres, 2024 Norm Smith, 2024 Premiership, 2020 and 2021 Brownlow)
Richmond 3 (2020 premiership, 2020 Gary Ayres, 2020 Norm Smith)
Melbourne 2 (2021 premiership, 2021 Norm Smith)
Collingwood 2 (2023 premiership, 2023 Norm Smith)
Bulldogs 1 (2021 Gary Ayres)
GWS 1 (2024 Coleman)
Port 1 (2021 Brownlow)

All other clubs zero

If you remove premierships, which we have established is a dated measure of success, we move even further ahead of the pack.

Same logic for norm smiths, remove them, too many ordinary players win them (refer Bobby Hill).

And if you exclude 2025, which was a rare down year for Carlton, we have as much silverware as the other 17 teams combined.

Undisputed silverware leaders.

I do pity Carlton supporters tbh. Not only do they support a club that has seen no success in 30 years, can barely make a finals series let alone Top 4 and are now watching all their favourite sons leave their burning sinking ship they have also had to sit and watch our magnificent football club dominate the competition with consistent inspirational massive finals victories watching in envy. It must be torturous for them. So, to all you Blues fans still living life with hope I salute you!
1995 is a long time to wait for success. OJ Simpson trial was in 1995. Amazon and Yahoo had just launched. Windows 95 had just launched. Oklahoma City Bombing. Paul Keating was PM. Bill Clinton was President.

Another lifetime ago really.

Episode 2 Whatever GIF

Couldn't even gloat about the season on BigFooty!

Still hear sunshine and you still only have 3 flags to my 8 in the last seven decades.

Even if you did happen to win it this year we still have double the amount of flags in the last 7 decades. Keep trying though !
Interesting interpretation of "7 decades", guessing you were bottom of the class in maths at school

So let me get this straight. The pies while playing like busted arses for two months.

A team of geriatrics has managed to at worst equal the Blues best season this century.

Some rope-a-dope effort. Maximum mental anguish for baggers fans.

Huh?

Incorrect.

Carlton's best season this century has been a 13 win 5th place home and away season, with a Preliminary Final embarrassment.

Our 2025 is already superior to Carlton's 2023, by virtue of our 16 win 4th place home and away finish, and a guaranteed Preliminary Final appearance.
