This is absolutely huge for Gold Coast. Rowell, King, others are going sign on for less for this.

They believe now. Damian Hardwick is an all time great coach.

It always amazes me how a 3 time premiership coach is never given the kudos when talking about the games best coaches. He's a star.

Hardwick is an all time great but let's not kid ourselves, 90% of current coaches could take this GC list to a finals win. It is ripe.

Stewy Dew maybe the unluckiest man in footy. Given another year he'd be viewed differently.

This is a terrible take. The GC list is good dont get me wrong, but its not better than Geelong, Brisbane, Freo, Collingwood at the very least. He took that team and changed it to what it is now, a finals winning team.

I tipped Hawks because I don't take GWS seriously. Hawthorn coming close with Adelaide, Brisbane etc in recent matches was enough for me.

GWS were no serious threat.
