Only in a world where the only outcomes are keep Charlie or get butters.

Personally I’d love to see some capital spread across the flanks, rather than blow everything (and then some) on one midfielder.

Charlie Was a generational talent
It will be unfulfilled as even M Jordan with all that talent busted his ass and more importantly was a competitive beast
From what I see in Charlie he gets beaten and doesn't care too much
I am moving to the let's deal side depending on what we get, even though he was our best talent.
Problem we have is make sure H is ok
Needs healthy mind and Body otherwise our scores of 60 ish will get to 40 ish
Butters ain't helping if we dont have any forwards
We are at a critical time of our development, get it right and we may see some sunshine otherwise several years of pain ahead still

Wizard and his friends have kicked goals but the 2 hawk key forwards have done a great job as well

Add butters and warner to a H and CC forward line and then you have something, but big Jack ain't around to get that done.

I dont think we'll get Butters or one of the big 4 at syd even if CC is done

We will need to get players like them and a young new forward and maybe it works with development and coaching and killer instinct

Agreed.
Jagga, Harry Dean, Cody Walker + young talent we saw this year (HOF, Carrol, HOK) is the longer term vision.
Now we need to bring in some senior talent with the cap space and go for it.
Cats, Pies dont rebuild through top end of draft. It hasn’t worked for us. Not working for North. Why would we do it again.

It’s a reset, not a rebuild. Completely different to 2015

Club has realised what we have this year and prior won’t cut it, no point going with the same and expecting a different result

Just going to add a name that I’m surprised hasn’t been discussed when it comes to Sydney and Charlie trade. Get McCartin and a future 1st for Charlie and 35? We’d have the best key defensive duo in the league. Add Newman, Saad, Cowan, Hollands, Wilson, Carroll and a new defensive line coach and we could become a vaunted defensive team. Use our draft picks for players that run with and without the ball to add around the ground and we could become a scary proposition off the back of our defense alone. Just an idea.

Thats my opinion aswell. We need to keep improving each year,its been 30 years, we can't be still hoovering around the bottom half of the ladder again next year after possibly trading out Charlie,TDK gone,JSos walking and whoever else should go this year. As a paid up member for decades,I for one have just about had enough of where the club is at,its really unacceptable.
We need to bring in players,staff that will bring success in the near future.
