Justice as the injury wasn’t as bad as thought so they’ve downgraded Hynes charge so he’s free to play.

Unusual sensible decision from judiciary.

Good news for the Roosters unless you are planning on leaving Trindall out. It seems both work significantly better with Atkinson at 6 who doesn’t get in the way

Definitely not, the biggest thing missing against Dogs was Trindalls kicking game

Those two don't work well together they get in the way. The best you guys looked for months was last weekend with Hynes being the main guy and Atkinson just playing his role not trying to do too much.

Have two teams ever put up 60 on the same day? I know its happened in the same round but same day?

Also ominous for the Raiders no team has ever won the comp after giving up 50 points in a game.
I always love that stat.

I also think it's almost irrelevant if the 50 point result came in a game where most players have been rested haha.

Its funny cause 50 or 60 almost feels like youve gotta be just totally checked out to allow it, from a mindset POV it seems ****ing horrible.

Having said that Parra left points on the field yesterday too.

Its a ****ing bad beat for the minor premiers to go down like that in the last round to a team who couldnt make finals.

Agree with this.

Had a bit of an element of a club who don’t quite know what the pointy end is all about.

Penrith copped a lot of flak for what they did but whichever side of that argument you sit on, you could see that the general culture of the top side filtered through to the stand-ins who made life tough for the Bulldogs, and then in round 27 it was business as usual as the first graders tuned up for the finals.

It's only a bad beat if they don't kick on from here.

Ricky has essentially just done what the AFL does every year with the pre finals bye. If they're good enough, they'll beat Brisbane. But whatever happens, I don't think many will lay the blame at a freshen up pre finals.

All it shows to me is that the Dolphins have a shit load of talent, the Raiders depth doesn't extend to their cup team.

There is a mentality and attitude thing though too.

Dropping that many points (even in a nothing game) doesnt look great. If they win it all then no one cares but if they dont i assure you this game gets brought up.

The Phins are interesting, no team was more cruelled by injuries this year (unless you count Mitch Moses as a one man team).

Does the old 50 point stat still exist that no premier has ever lost by or conceded 50 points in a season? Can’t remember exactly what it was.

There is but does it even impact them? It's so clearly a mulligan that I don't think there's any baggage carried across from it.

The bolded is crazy. If the Panthers don't win this year, is there game against the Dogs brought up?

Then flip the script. If the Storm don't win this year, is the fact they bought Hughes/played Papy in a meaningless game brought up? I bet Melbourne are now wishing they rested players.

Yes it does.

There's also one that no premier has ever lost to the Dolphins as well ;)

Hughes probably needed the run before finals but it’s a fair point
