Not condoning giving him a 3 year deal, but Mihocek doesn’t play like he is 32. I know his career started late, but when I heard how old he was during a game this year, I was actually surprised he was that old. Plays more like he is 28 or so. If that makes sense.

In and of himself, I don’t dislike Mihocek. But someone like that is the last of our needs right now. I’d really like to see Cooper and Trembath get some synergy in that forward line with PC and Bull.
How many small forwards and midfielders do we need? We need to bolster our defence.

we are looking at fixing the defence too... not heard! Been sniffing around Sarce, Budarick, Young, Butts to name a few...

Spargo acquisition has zero impact on PC and Bull.... more impact on Harvey, JK, Payne and Branch, the last few games we had to play all 4 as simply ran out of depth, should be playing 2 of these max. Trembath has played a couple of games and whilst impressive still alot of development needed as with Duurs and Whitlock, you can develop through training and VFL aswell! Competitive for places helps development too...

here's a thought, maybe we are still looking at small forwards as not happy with all that we have... they had plenty of exposure over the last mth

Whilst that is true, I think we're aligned on exactly how that looks like in the 2020s and beyond.

In the 90s dickhead could be a bloke who pinches women on the arse at clubs but can play footy.

In more recent times maybe it's the bloke who gets in a few fights or drinks too much in public.

If Fahey is a bloke who says or does a bit too much that contravenes the respect and responsibility type programs the league would run, we're the last club who needs the potential blowback of his actions. Even if some of it is 'victimless'.

Yes, Geelong or Collingwood players could run a side hussle organising sex tours of 3rd world villages and still be celebrated but that's the world we live in.

And rightly so coming off the back of the Daniel trade, that's why I'm not losing my shit, he takes up a list spot for 3 years that's it. Hopefully he comes good and contributes us to us winning more games next year, if not he's just another player on the list.

I've posted this before but it bears repeating, it's a very shallow pool we're swimming in we're not going to attract much more than fringe best 22 players until we improve, people need to make peace with that.

personally think there are 2 spots... and the mid rests on the bench...

I agree with you, Mihocek is a poor mans Zurhaar. He still kicked 36 goals this year and statistically is very similar to Zurhaar, albeit in a much stronger team. I think he plays a lot more physical though, he is more of a battering ram, will hit packs and pressure.

I think we can only afford to play 2 KPFs with Zurhaar being a pseudo third tall, that would be Larkey and Trembath. Darling is kind of in the way now.

Our three smaller forwards are Curtis and Konstanty... plus the Bermuda triangle position where you have Simpkin, Parker, Sheezel, etc rotate through there.

You can't really fill the rotation position without it impacting midfield rotations. Would Miho be better than Konstanty, on the scoreboard absolutely but do we want him being manned up by rebounding defenders.

We just can't front up and play Larkey, Trembath, Zurhaar, Darling and Mihocek, this would be glacial slow. If I was going to pinch a gettable Collingwood forward it would be McCreedy due to his speed and versatility to play different roles.

What does Council have to do with it? You can live in Bayside (Hampton, Brighton, Black Rock etc) and be 5-10 minutes drive to the St Kilda training centre
