Got to hang out with Eddie VH briefly during their tour in 98. We had a group on a forum and the band gave all the Aussies free tickets too. The guy who played for Collingwood was also a guitarist and forum member - cant remember his first name something Manson.

James Manson? Yes he had a unique kicking style among other idiosyncracies.

He ended up at Fitzroy I think.

It is also actually astonishing how quickly Brad (acknowledging he has nothing to do with the Mum scenario) has tanked the culture at the place. It's like his time with us was a warm up and now he's live streaming an any% speed run of destroying a football club

List spot issues?

Yes Krakouers that sounds reasonable enough, still a young player that shows potential, I can't understand why our list management team don't give him a ring, will cost nothing but a list spot and I'm not at all worried about that. Our defence needs a player of his swagger to inject some daredevil attacking play, I've got huge wraps on Goater and Hardeman is going to be a very nice player but you just don't pass on talent like this when available.

On paper Hustwaite makes sense in terms of his numbers and his size ect - but maybe there is a general league wide consensus about him like there kind of was with Constable - that he just can’t take the next step. Happy to be proven wrong though, I like the pencil!!

Also, I will be gobsmacked if anyone is recruited to Essendon this off season - not a chance you would go there, the air raid siren is going off at Tullamarine.

People here at the moment arguing/fighting/in a doom & gloom world, even though its quite funny, the last six years has been tough on all of us, but some people really do need to try and chill out, lets see what else the trade period brings us, I don't think its over yet.

Hustwaite couldn’t get a game even when the hawks midfield was decimated with injury. Plus the hawks midfield isn’t that talented to begin with.

Draft profile says he lacks speed and isn’t damaging with his disposal. We really need a defensive mid who can cover the ground.

I agree with you, Mihocek is a poor mans Zurhaar. He still kicked 36 goals this year and statistically is very similar to Zurhaar, albeit in a much stronger team. I think he plays a lot more physical though, he is more of a battering ram, will hit packs and pressure.

I think we can only afford to play 2 KPFs with Zurhaar being a pseudo third tall, that would be Larkey and Trembath. Darling is kind of in the way now.

Our three smaller forwards are Curtis and Konstanty... plus the Bermuda triangle position where you have Simpkin, Parker, Sheezel, etc rotate through there.

You can't really fill the rotation position without it impacting midfield rotations. Would Miho be better than Konstanty, on the scoreboard absolutely but do we want him being manned up by rebounding defenders.

We just can't front up and play Larkey, Trembath, Zurhaar, Darling and Mihocek, this would be glacial slow. If I was going to pinch a gettable Collingwood forward it would be McCreedy due to his speed and versatility to play different roles.

I’d say other way around on the Zurhaar comparison - Mihocek has been an excellent forward consistently in a very successful team. Having said that, this season has been the least impactful I’ve seen from him, so it’s probably not the time to be getting him in.

In a world where we can barely fight to be in a queue for a player to choose to come to us, these two things should be used as a way to get in front of him.

enough playing nice and clean, do what is required to be done to land someone we on the balance of things normally would have no shot at.

He needs a fresh start for everyone involved, Essendon delisting a certain player wont make things okay, also the possibility that the senior player involved may have shared pictures of her around and maybe bragging like some males do so I'm sure as a mum she wouldn't of thought that her "friend" would do something like that, if that's the way it went down.

There is absolutely a level of catch 22 paradox when it comes to North Melbourne and recruitment of players from another club. Whereby if they really want to come you probably need to question why.
