That's a very valid question. I know of a few people who have simply cancelled their memberships over the last few years. It's been tempting to follow suit but I keep getting sucked in by the "Just gotta be patient. We know we've got the talent. It will turn. We're definitely improving" propaganda.

It really feels helpless doesn't it. Heads in the sand and all. 6 years too long.


Where Brady fails in his approach is he lacks ambition.
He built this list. It belongs to him now. There are just 7 players left that were at the club in 2019.
But he couldn't pitch the club or convince anyone about coming across if his life depended on it.
And so we get scraps or fringe footballers looking for a payday.

Without Clarko's presence we would be so far more cooked.

You have to consider though that Phillips was covid's fault, Spicer was just a case of mistaken identity, CCJ was Noble's fault, everyone would have taken Edwards, D'Ambrosio was completely unknown to anyone, JHF was Port's fault, Duursma and Biggie were Thursfield's fault, Daniels was Clarkson's fault and Logue, Fisher, Stephens and Tucker were forced upon us due to a combination of inadequate priority packages and no one else wanting to come.

He's simply just the unluckiest GM of football/GM of talent/list manager ever and its unfair to judge him.

Yes I love that one being brought up as it’s the one time I go conservative on injury history

Wardlaw has been better and I’d take him now in hindsight but there was and still is a big risk he doesn’t play consistently

To be fair Wardlaw (injuries were a known risk) hasn't justified his selection at this point in time. Can't call him a success yet.

Do want to note though that I love him as a player.

CCJ and Biggie were two of them I remember which were terrible calls.
He's anti Scott which is a positive one.

Someone compile a list. The devotion to CCJ will make it hard for the weighting to be positive.
And Biggie is probably the worst player we've had pull on the jumper since 2020. That is some achievement.
