This is a laughable list. Half of those blokes have had one good season in their career. Merrett is down on form (coincides with Essendon capitulating) but is still one of the best players in the league.

Merrett is in the 15 to 20 range of mids. The ones who I listed who are not at his level are 6 or 8 years younger and will give far more than him over the next 5 years.

Hogan had it kicked to him 30 times. So 10% of the time he kicked a goal.
Gunston had it kicked to him 10 times. So 33% of the time he kicked a goal.

How many contested were won, halved or lost with Barrass last night?

If a team can keep a forwardline to a single guy kicking a couple of goals until the celebrations began that is a win.
