That’s what they’re saying is Jiath’s problem though right?Voss issue aren't player relationship based
It's game plan style systems
So Mitchell and the Hawks can sort out Chol, but can’t sort out Jiath?
You’d want King ahead of Humphrey? The ONLY trade id entertain for Charlie would be King.
You couldn’t possibly have Charlie/King/Read and Walter play in the same side.

And Sammy is supposed to be the Super Coach and recruiting guru with his relationship building. This is true.
But given Hawthorn’s coaching compared to ours, that would be quite a risk.

It’s not about the relationship.
Khamis is also quick and is coming. We're interested in anyone with pace it seems. Chesser, Petrucelli, Jiath, Flanders... will be interesting to see which of these are actually true. Chesser seems a lock at this stage.
Clearly Flanders is the best player in that lot by a mile. Unlucky not to be in the 2024 AA team. Excellent ball user.
Oh, welcome to Carlton then! From what I'm told it's 90%+ injury issues.
Exactly.Oh, welcome to Carlton then!
I know Moyles basically been told he’s got the keys after Witts retires but I wonder if Read is seen as a ruck long term, both king and Walter are ooc next year as well from memory so there’s a chance there is a need for a key forward soonThe ONLY trade id entertain for Charlie would be King.

I'm good with a key forward as a part of a larger trade.
But if GC won't give up Walter or Read then they need to stump up another of their A graders or potential A graders
Is that confirmed somewhere?Khamis is also quick and is coming.
Where did Mitchell actually say this? Is there actual quotes? No offense to anyone, but I'm taking Mitchell's opinion over most people here when it comes to footy.
Trust me on this one.Is that confirmed somewhere?
From what I'm told it's 90%+ injury issues.
Don't believe the Walter bravado...
You don't come out and say you're very interested in a player like Curnow then rule out all your top players, you're best upcoming players and top draft picks...
They are doing what they should be doing, but at the end of the day, if the offer is Flanders + F2 we will rightly tell them to **** off.
Khamis is also quick and is coming.
Any idea of the trade price?Trust me on this one.
Hard to see Walters staying with Curnow, King and in favour Reid in that forward line.Don't believe the Walter bravado...

Absolutely heard it too. Confirmation.100% heard it with my own ears.
I have no idea about that yet.Any idea of the trade price?
Not sureAre we selling him on forward or back?
None of these players get me excited tbh. Reckon they're just shuffling deck chairsSo who are we getting
Reidy
Khamis
CJ
Davies
that probably sorts out KP for losing JSOS and TDK (plus HOF injury). All probably B grade at best. So we won’t be losing much in terms of contract price and picks. I think we still need another elite mid, half back ball user and small forward. Some of these will come via the draft I guess plus the addition of Jagga.
If Mitchell is happy to let him go. Buyer bewareHave it on good authority that this is a chance. Hawks happy to let him go.
I agreed I think we need 6+ good players young enough that we can develop them into top players.
Butters / Petracca would wipe out our draft capital on one player.
I guess it's pretty obvious that we need speed and good ball users - even Austin seems to get it (finally).
The game relies on chains of possession to move the ball from one end to another obviously. One weak link and it breaks down. We regularly field a team with multiple weak links - so we only score goals when the stars align and each of these weak links happens to not stuff it up.
Also those poor ball users know they can't "bite off" a challenging kick so when they get a mark they just take their time then bomb it down the line (see Blake Acres 95% of the time). Bombing it down the line to an outnumber is the Voss game plan in it's most obvious fail.
We need the troops to keep these poor ball users out of the team. Will transform the team.
