rowell is such a scrapper he obviously gets a lot of umpire votes cos he causes ball ups with his ramming and is usually the one that gives the ball back to the umpire for a restart

Nah, it's all that "bumping" into the umpires during the year. If you look carefully at the replays, you see that rowell is slipping a 20 into the ump's back pocket every time.
