There are clubs that have already benefitted from the old / current system and clubs that will develop ways to manipulate the future system. The only clubs ****ed over by this are clubs like us and Carlton who will get the benefit of neither. There's a fair way to do this and you do it by drawing a line in the sand and saying the new rules apply to anyone not already in the system from now on. Meaning all clubs have the opportunity to be in an equal playing field when it comes to planning. But as usual the AFL aren't interested in fair. It's a kneejerk reaction to recent club bounties that punishes others as collateral damage.
