The fact he’s staying overnight says a bit to me.

He couldn’t have gotten in and out of Adelaide quicker. His wife had never been here yet didn’t spend any time really to check the area out.

Maybe I’m looking too much into it of course but just saying….

If wife really wasn't interested in moving to Adelaide - I don't see why she'd have any interest in spending an entire day at the club / Adelaide with him and fly over. There would be 0 need for it, it's a waste of her time.

I also doubt she hasn't spent time in Adelaide before, she'd have been over here multiple times whilst he was playing.

Our B&F is this week too and yes ANB is still in Adelaide. He has a close relationship with a member of the Crows leadership group already, doesn’t have that at the Suns no matter who they roll out for him.

I’m hoping we got at least some players for our presentation. Pretty sure Daws was away which doesn’t help.

Not sure if Sharp would be the target, but I wouldn’t be shocked to see us make a play like that.

Carlton’s TDK pick (will be 10 from memory) would be worth looking at. As they will want to trade out of this year, avoiding having to use it on Dean, and instead boost their hand next year for Walker.

Eg: 16 and F1 for 10 and F2 (send to Lions for Ah Chee).

The midfield was exposed, if we don’t bring in an A grade midfielder then we go into the preseason and season that hanging over us.

We have to bring in a quality mid, drafting one so we can **** up their development isn’t an option.

Seeing as he had issues with players professionalism at Melbourne and the culture - would JUH possibly being involved at GC not also be a negative for him?

Not someone that posts much but has been around a long time, don’t really remember them trolling over things like this. Given we haven’t been told a club it’s not exactly a helpful rumour haha

In thinking why Petracca is wanting out from Melbourne, does anyone actually know? We know he wants out. We know this has endured at least a year. We know he has Adelaide in his considerations.

Why?

The only reason he wants to leave is because of the dysfunction at Melbourne. Real or perceived by Trac. This could be bad relationship with some players, or with the management, the incoherent and unprofessional overarching strategy of the club or even he sees pure hubris in the corridors of power. The club has had quite a few troubles over the recent past but whatever the problem, we know it's reached the divorce stage for Petracca.

Adelaide has had a couple of player indiscretions over the past few years, (Walker and Rankine) but apart from that, we've been...

We've retained our players and attracted other players to the club.

It's still easy to feel bad about our September but overall, I think we offer a lot to a player looking to escape a bin fire. I hope Petracca comes to us.

Gold coast might be a sexy destination with it's....well it is the Gold coast afterall. But although little miss bleach blonde silicone boobs Gold coast is a fun fling for a few weeks, little miss Adelaide is the marrying type. Someone you can properly love and can properly return that love.
Trac will be adored by Crows fan and he'll love them in return. We're a loyal bunch and I think he'll enjoy that stable and secure environment.

I think Christian Petracca looks like a guy who can see the depth of opportunity our club offers him.
