Would need to move into the top 10, somewhere around 7 or 8 and that's not happening unless the club trades a future first. The Sharp train left the station once we locked in a finals spot this season.
And why are people so sure Sharp would have been out target even then. Dangerfield vs Ebert, Doedee vs Burton etc.

Just on all this, could you ever see the Adelaide Crows hiring a coach who wants to immediately move on three star premiership players in one off season before even coaching a single game?
Didn't Ayres do that?

I reckon King and Melbourne want to keep Petracca hence the pushing out of Oliver and May
No they dont. Its posturing

He has already indicated he is going - it would be a bad look for Brand Petracca to sell that he wasnt moving

So keep him Kingy - lets see how that works

I’ll reserve judgement to see what the they for Petracca.

Not sure it’s smart. There’s rebuilding and then there’s North Melbourne trading players and look where they are.

Not much as been talked about it but I really wasn’t a fan of King staying with Geelong through finals instead of getting on with the Melbourne job. He’s getting paid close to a million dollars. Saying you’ll start in 3 weeks to focus on your current club sends the wrong messsgr, IMO.

Here’s a thought

- Melbourne spoke to both Adel and GC , not happy with either potential trade value , approach Petracca “if we move Clarry on , will you stay ?”

Doesn't ring a bell.

The closest we had was Blight moving on McDermott, McGuinness, A. Jarman and Weidemann even though none of them were premiership players, although they were seniors.

WTF is wrong with you? Do you really struggle to determine which posters have credibility and don’t need to make shit up.

Just because you have no credible inside source doesn’t mean everyone is as bereft of info. Numb nut posters here hounded some previous good sources of intel and just wonder what insecurities motivate you to do so.
First of all, congratulations on your shortest post

Pretty clear that King's taking control and will either fly or die on his terms...."It's my way or the highway" re Oliver.

Melbourne has to be one on the worst run clubs in the comp

They reject our trade which included taking on board his entire contract - now willing to pay $3.5m over the next 5 years

Wow

Change looks to be happening at a seriously fast pace since King arrived.

Who gets drunk, posts shit, sends abusive PMs, doesn’t apologise when sober and instead closes his account, that bloke?
Umm Umm ?
I think many have done that on this board. You sound like a upstanding poster with no faults
I personally value Jeffcrowe especially draft time.

His name was Malcolm

Its funny, now the salary dump nature of Oliver has been laid bare, its like Petracca who
Personally I would still much prefer Petracca. So much less risk than Clarry, who has some pretty serious personal issues that could easily pop up again. I mean there is a reason that Melbourne are pushing him out while trying to keep Trac.

Just on that. There is no chance that Melbourne just decided this, which means they would definitely have already talked to us about Clarry, especially once we showed interest in Trac. I mean we obviously need an elite inside mid, have cap room and we’re keen on him 2 years ago. Therefore it seems pretty certain that the club prefers Trac as well.

I know I've had stupid arguments after a few drinks and had to grovel and apologise later... I did not understand Jeff's vehemence on this argument though. It just didn't make sense.

Historically bad .....had a short upswing, but looks like they're returning to normal

Trading in & out Grundy ....a disaster

Trading out Hogan ...a disaster, given they now can't buy a forward

Now, the president says they're a Finals side .....they may have forgotten to tell the new Coach that

On top of all this, wasn't Lever also supposed to be finding a new home ?

I'll be happy with either Petracca or Oliver ....who now will be on a mission to shove King's POV up his ****
