The NGAs were started to stop clubs complaining about the Queensland and NSW academies. It's a bit sad that Healy is taking the proposed reasoning behind it on face value.

Really hope he stays, has the same attributes as a Dev but an infinitely better kick.

List turnover is a good thing. Having role players in their mid to late 20s depart is much better than letting high end youth leave. Now there are 2 spots up for grabs for younger players to take. Its also an opportunity for the coaches to rethink their game style and match ups.

I think there are several options to play wing, half forward, small forward in Ah Chees role.

There is less like for like for Starc. Maybe it's an opportunity to go taller and bring in Doedee. Maybe it's an opportunity to inject more run and carry into defense by playing Wilmot, Zorko, Fletcher and Coleman all together.

I think Daniher leaving has gotten Fages and the coaching staff to really look at our ball movement and change up our game to suit a less powerful forward line. That ball movement and stoppage play is what beat Geelong.

I have more confidence going into 2026 with our list changes than if we remained stagnant and tried to pull off 2025 again next year.

Should be considering he didn't ask for a trade and wasn't announced today.

Really sad to lose Starc and Ah Chee, and Dev too if I'm being honest but will cheer them on at their new clubs except when they play us of course.

It does open up some spots though, so competition should be ferocious. There aren't many opportunities to crack into a premiership side with so many young 'uns.

Feels like the trend now. Win a flag then lose a critical player we won’t be able to replace.

Thanks for everything Starc. To me, besides Dunkley, you turned us into a genuine premiership/ finals outfit through your physicality let alone your lockdown abilities.
