We all know Daicos is going to get the awards and attention so having the spotlight also on team mates who’s contributing to a season just as much as Daicos not only takes a bit of that media scrutiny and spotlight off Daicos

But could help defuse any tension or even resentment that might be brewing if other players at the club feel overlooked for what they bring to the table

It’s something that I really thought McRae would of been all over

He has made some absolutely awful gaffes. He has had a sook about the umpiring, a sook about rules being basically different at the MCG, two absolute howlers at the B&F to pander to Daicos.

I don't see why they need to change the voting system, per se.

Surely you could just pencil in Nick for 20 votes each week?

I got a easier solution.

Rename the medal to Daicos Medal.

Rule is only players with Daicos in their name can receive votes…. because it’s Daicos medal! Simple and fair.

I don't think he's good at this stuff personally. Just idiotic to make the original remark about Daicos not winning the Brownlow, only for him to not win the club B&F and then ridiculous to throw Cameron under the bus... basically implying he's not a deserving winner.

Taylor Adams and Jack Ginnivan in recent times off the top of my head have commented on their departures from Collingwood and how they felt their treatment was pretty disrespectful. I think he's a great coach, but I don't think he has great people skills at all.
