Even though Rawlings indicated that they're happy with the KPD stocks, it does seem like Clarko loves his versatile types, so maybe Derksen as a swingman prospect could interest them?
Oh, f*ck off with the versatile swingman!

Just get an actual second KPF that is under 27 ffs…

(Nothing against your post just so you know).

Aleer doesn't strike me as the type to play well at North. We're nowhere near GWS and he has struggled there.

I think what the Saints did is scummy but I don't think we should jump in.
For next year we have lots of competition for the KPD spots. But we can definitely do with another smart, high quality general defender.

After next year I think we will be dropping one or two of Pink Corr and Logue and picking up another kid through draft or trade.

We’ve done that. Only two players in the afl averaged more goals per game than him. He’s only 20 years old 😀

Oh F off,
Am I the only one who thinks more this shit needs to Players managers?
He’s having a sook because he didn’t do his job and threw all the eggs in the Saints basket.
Teams need to wrestle back power from these parasites, they’re ruining the game.

Let’s be honest if this trade involved the pies, we’d be hearing how bad Leek is being hard done by GWS for not letting him go for a third or fourth rounder.

I don't know who this Allen guy is but I completely agree.
He'll be key to tighten things up ... though he can get things a bit loose too

Cannot see Aleer and us mentioned in the media as yet. I'm a bit of a fence sitter tbh but he is a tall half back and we need a tall half back. Cannot honestly say I am a big fan - but maybe....................he is what we need in general.

A simple phone call from AC ..... "Hello Aleer, it's Al 'ere ..."

Someone take his phone away

We were chasing Serong as a third tall type.....Aleer's price would be higher you'd imagine.

Collingwood’s hunt for midfield reinforcement has led them to North Melbourne captain Jy Simpkin.

The Magpies had expressed interest in Melbourne onballer Clayton Oliver, but have now set their sights on Simpkin, who this masthead revealed last month was unhappy with his midfield time after finishing the season in a wing role.

Oliver is yet to lodge an official trade request or nominate the Giants, but seems likely to do that in the days ahead.

Simpkin is contracted until the end of the 2029 season, so it would likely take a strong first-round pick to convince the Kangaroos to part with him.

Aleer would be $2mil over 3 years I would think. Not saying we should but saying he fits the description of our biggest need. A tall back.

Its Happening Ron Paul GIF

Not sure he's getting that money anymore now the New Cash Cowboys have shafted him. The offer from GWS has been described as "modest".

Just wondering if we were keen on Serong as a third tall, might Aleer be of interest? Suggests that we see Comben as a genuine 1 or 2 KPD and not third/interceptor.
