Maybe not for Jy
I get the feeling Jy is a bit offended that he’s not the No.1 banana and has thrown the toys out of the cot.

Compare the leadership of someone like Ziebell who was willing to play wherever the team needed him to Simpkin.

So the guy that is meant to set the culture wants out? Probably says a lot about him as a person and leader.
He thinks he’s too good for our team and wants out. I think this is a great outcome for us to finally move forward and get rid of these players. It’s amazing he’s our captain and thinks like this. Trade him and we will be a better team.

Bingo!

here we go again speculating on things we dont know the full story about
What’s there to speculate? A person that is happy to be somewhere doesn’t test the market. Are you saying he hasn’t tested the market and it’s pure fantasy? LOL

A leaders job is to set the culture and provide an example. The example he is setting is that I am not getting what I want so let’s see what else is out there.

Not sure you conclude anything else than with Jy it’s all about him.

If he stays and this playing group keep in the leadership group, they are turkeys.

Ha ha ha tee hee more negotiation by media.

Don't **** this up Brady they're bending. "Two first rounders is one too many, and maybe two too many". They're so desperate.

Also Morris is genuinely dense. Two first rounders is maybe two too many, but if they had a late teens pick this year they'd use it. Which one is it. You crab. You simpleton. You dunce

I am more than happy if we trade him, but not on anyones terms but ours.

If other clubs want to pay peanuts then he can stay and do whatever role Clarko gives him.

Peanuts won’t move this club forward.

The only thing I worry about is the club not backing down and accepting unders.

We’ve been here before in the Ben brown , taz and ccj trades
The 2 X 1st rounders is negotiation 101; we start high, they start low and we meet somewhere in the middle.

it might also be a Club decision too, not just Jy's. He is one player the Club has abit of trade capital and in a position that we have a fair bit of cover

Their terms??? 😂
You don’t want him enough then?
Weird limbo to be in jy. One team wants you on the wing the other doesn’t want you that bad?
It’s a joke isn’t it. Want to trade for a contracted player on their terms only. That gets it done every time. If the roles were reversed the media would be on our backs to pony up.

So the guy that is meant to set the culture wants out? Probably says a lot about him as a person and leader.
What has he led?
Let's be honest here, he was a kid when we had finals success and has been the capt for our worst seasons in the last 20 years.
No leadership on field or off it and seemingly cares more now about his abs than anything else.
Tell me, when was the last time you saw simpkin taking it to an opposition player when they hit North players etc.

If you don’t understand the reference, then don’t use it.:stern look
I understand the reference. You’re getting worked up over nonsense that hasn’t come to pass. Oh and don’t give me “I’m annoyed at the media”. All this shit is media driven by and large. :stern look
