Folks, this is the way things are here.

Posters are responsible for what they post. Moderators can not attest to the accuracy or otherwise of any rumour posted.

Moderators will intervene for a couple of reasons.

1. If a thread is threatening to be derailed because of a post.

2. If invested parties request the removal of material.

None of this draws a conclusion as to the accuracy or otherwise of the original post.

There is no need to further speculate. What will be will be.

Also, you need to remember that this thread like all parts of this forum is bound by the rules of poster conduct. If you want to express skepticism towards a rumour that's fine, but having a crack at posters who are contributors to this forum is simply not on and will be acted upon.

Mini restructure/rebuild but it’s needed.


Won’t have to be annoyed at how slow the side is anymore. Walker next year the big one, jagga kemp and Newman basically new recruits as well. Not all doom and gloom. Hopefully better culture and vibes with a few of the supposed saps on their way out

We are desperately trying to change culture

Our focus coming on was depth and a range of players. No need to go to draft with Jagga, Dean, Ison, Walker all coming in

If we walk away with Florent, Hayward, Pick 11 and F1 then that’s solid. Virtually secures Walker next year and we could easily trade up for a Top 4-5 pick

With much more SC room we have set ourselves up for next decade and got kids in before Tasmania stuff the draft

I am very happy if this is what happens

Need some KP players developing Soap. I see what you are saying but we need another KP forward at the very least.

Some dollars to absorb in Hayward and Florent (which should be more to our favour on the OF inclusion/trade I.e. salary dump type) and for some years.

Would still prefer Campbell as a steak knife..OF a returning favour.

I think it was against Essendon in the VFL, he took one of the better clunks I've seen for a while and slotted truly to win us the game.

He has the attack on the ball and skill level required to play key fwd IMO.

Given where things are atm like to see 1st + future 1st + Haywood + player x + Florent -> curnow + Fogarty (or similar)

player x could be McDonald/datolli/other player of interest or that is traded to 3rd party

Fogarty/similar-> florent is essentially a salary dump trade for Sydney rather than core part of the deal for curnow

We can do that without giving away a marqee player. This is not good at all if it's what has been rumoured, to pretend otherwise is cope, we would be consigning ourselves to a bigger longer rebuild.
