I have got no problems with posters being upset and frustrated and so on but it needs to be balanced credit when its due. Plenty of cases when it's not.
I blame Brady for this. The guy couldn't organise a constructive internet forum if his life depended on it. F&&ked if I know how he still has a job because he's single handedly made us the laughing stock of the known universe.

Dion Prestia and Steven May ahve been charged over a brawl at Sorrento’s Continental Hotel on December 26, 2024.

Three men, including star footballers Dion Prestia and Steven May, have been charged over a Boxing Bay brawl at Sorrento which left AFL stars under investigation.
Two men were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries after the alleged confrontation, which began outside the Continental Hotel on December 26.
The Herald Sun first revealed in December that star footballers May and Prestia had been caught up in the late-night fracas at the popular Peninsula pub.
Football sources confirmed to this masthead the AFL duo was among a group which had been caught up in friction, which was believed to be sparked by another party harassing their group about 2am.
However, at the time a spokeswoman for Richmond said Prestia was “in no way” involved.
“Prestia saw it happening but in no way was he involved. They weren’t involved in any physical altercation,” they said.
Melbourne Football Club, who May plays for, declined to comment at the time.

But Richmond Football Club in a statement on Thursday confirmed that Victoria Police had charged Prestia in relation to an incident in December 2024.
“Dion strenuously denies any wrongdoing and will defend himself accordingly,” the statement said.

“As with any member of the community, he is entitled to the presumption of innocence.
“The Club will continue to support him as the legal process takes its course. He will return to pre-season training next month.
“As the matter is now before the courts, the Club will not be making any further comment.”
Prestia said: “I have today been charged with the offence of recklessly causing serious injury as a result of an altercation that apparently took place on Boxing Day 2024 at Sorrento.
“I was not involved in the fight. I was not even physically present when it apparently took place. I deny that I am guilty of these offences and will strenuously defend these charges.
As I have now been charged, it would be inappropriate for me to say anything further.”
Tearsheet crop for Sorrento brawl

Detectives interviewed three men in May as part of their investigation.
A 26-year-old Blairgowrie man has been charged on summons with affray and will appear before the Dromana Magistrates’ Court on 20 October.
A 33-year-old Hawthorn man has been charged on summons with recklessly cause serious injury, intentionally cause injury, recklessly cause injury and affray.
A 33-year-old Mt Eliza man has been charged on summons with affray.
They will both appear before the Dromana Magistrates’ Court on 27 November.

With the amount of vitriol that is directed at our club and our players I do really wonder why we don't play every game with a us vs everyone f*** the world type attitude.

IMHO we would be a different side entirely if to a man they went out with this sort of mentality.

You may beat us but you will get hurt doing so. It would make practically everything more bearable.
Wasn't that our attitude through the 90s - NM vs the world?

It absolutely makes me sad when I see blokes who saw success with us in the 90s whinge about how unfair it all is because we moved back one spot in the draft or can't get players to come to us because we're shit.

These campaigners were winning flags while pumping iron in a garage with rusty weights and using garbage bins as ice baths.

Harden the **** up and take on the world again.

They threw a medicine ball through a wall and exposed a beehive. Yet speak affectionately about the place.

I think the only solution now is to set up beehives around the Arden Street gym.

Literally cannot think of anything else.

Slight overreaction here?

Put your toys back in the cot, please!!!

I'd give Brad a fair amount of the credit for this. Wasn't their a draft, maybe 12 years ago, when most of our recruits were from Queensland - some of us joked that must be where our single recruiter was based. Certainly, after Brad left, there weren't many capable senior players left to mentor the young team.

It was the attitude that led to us being unkillable for our entire existance.

It is our roots.

It is everything we should stand for.

It is the very ethos that you can see alive and well and winning games of football in the AFLW.

We've been poor and pushed around but we've always been hard to beat and made clubs earn it and when we've had the chance to shine we have let other teams f***ing know about it.

good at football and fighting, now we accept losses before we play a game.

The Geelong game this year is the absolute pinnicle of everything that is wrong with the club. Conceded defeat when the fixture came out. Poor at the selection table. Senior players f**ing around in the warm up knowing we would lose. Totally dominated on field and ridiculed off it. Which we backed up with a loss to an opponent we should have beaten.

This.

I don't care if we lose it we do so on our own terms. too many games for too long where we just turn our toes up when it gets hard.

I may be in the minority here, I would happily have players wear some suspensions if the outcome was winning some games and upsetting the apple cart.

tired of the affable nature we have sunk into.

Very affable both on and off field

All too hard.

We should have recruited Lloyd meek as that is what we are - meek.

We just sit back and cop it

Fair enough. I consider myself chastised. And I would also like to take this opportunity to sincerely apologise to the friends and family of anyone I may have offended with my tomfoolery.

The exact number of deaths caused by Emperor Tiberius is not known, but his reign was associated with significant violence and persecution, including the execution of political opponents, the use of torture to extract confessions, and the forced expulsion of thousands of Jews from Rome
. Historical accounts point to a reign marked by paranoia, purges, and a climate of fear that led to many deaths.
