And he stated he knew nothing about it. As late John Elliot would say “pigs arse”.
Typical Port Adelaide cheating arseh*le.

Not enough outrage over this, when bryce gibbs was available for the crows and there was some dispute about the games you had rucci ringing the afl directly to ask/inform them of the potential discrepancyCan anyone explain how Dougie Cochrane could qualify for Ports NGA?
I have read a bit and none of it has me convinced there is any merit in it. It’s got me puzzled.
What actually makes him NGA qualified? I thought that this rating was meant for the disadvantaged indigenous community. Can anyone explain how Dougie Cochrane could qualify for Ports NGA?

Port keep wasting their draft picks on trades...What’s the basis for Cochrane qualifying for Port under NGA?
Still don't believe Tasmania can afford an enclosed stadium...

Tasmania's budget 'pretty dire' with 'no easy way out', economists say
Independent economist Saul Eslake and Deloitte's Cedric Hodges warn there is no easy way out of Tasmania's dire budget situation, after the treasurer delivered an "interim" budget with little in the way of concrete solutions for fixing the state's debt.www.abc.net.au
Tasmania as the smallest state doesn't have the capacity for big capital project spends compared to the other statesAll government budgets are dire. And yet the spending continues unabated.

Why the hell do they want an enclosed stadium anyway? It seems a waste of money and will drag a new team and the dreams of Tasi kids for too long. It’s just stupidStill don't believe Tasmania can afford an enclosed stadium...

Tasmanians should not be blackmailed by the AFL over an enclosed stadium. Why the hell do they want an enclosed stadium anyway? It seems a waste of money and will drag a new team and the dreams of Tasi kids for too long. It’s just stupid

There have been plenty of AFL games in Tasmania previously.
Hence i used the term blackmail!!It’s a condition of the license. The AFL is happy with the status quo, no skin off their nose.
Don’t think Tassie’s debt is bad compared to other states. Either per capita or as a % of state revenue. They’re not big infrastructure spenders, which is where a fair bit of state debt comes from. Unless you’re the NT, in which case you’re borrowing to pay public servant wages.
What's their share of non emergency services or health government wages as a % of total government spending?Don’t think Tassie’s debt is bad compared to other states. Cos they'll chuck on the space heaters and it will be warm and toasty. Why the hell do they want an enclosed stadium anyway? It seems a waste of money and will drag a new team and the dreams of Tasi kids for too long. It’s just stupid
Doesn’t seem to affect Hawks or Roos when they play thereCos they'll chuck on the space heaters and it will be warm and toasty.
Every study on a team in Tasmania has shown they will be a financial drain on the rest of the competition.Hence i used the term blackmail!!
Tasmania is a traditional AFL state & it's a joke they don't have a team if we want to be truly national.
I think you will find it is the worst -
What's their share of non emergency services or health government wages as a % of total government spending?
Doesn't pass any economic cost v benefit analysis for an enclosed stadium.Every study on a team in Tasmania has shown they will be a financial drain on the rest of the competition.
The roofed stadium is an attempt to create a prime tourism offering, which would boost numbers and at least give the team a chance of being viable.
Frankly, with the Tasmanian economy the way it is, the whole thing should be put on the backburner.
Absolutely the Tasmanian team will get more support than the less supported Melbourne teams.I will die on the hill that Tasmania is not less financially viable than St Kilda, and every economic argument for dropping support for the Tasmanian team could be applied to St Kilda
Doesn't pass any economic cost v benefit analysis for an enclosed stadium.
Imo, Tasmania are more deserving than Gold Coast.
Are we really a national competition if one of our football states has no representation?
