First time I've ever been on the Friday, was really good. Not packed with people, could get around easily. Awesome field of TCM cars.

Also, AUSCAR has already been run at the Thunderdome, let's leave it there. They were great too.

Said it this week multiple times when I was talking about how I was not spending big $$ to get closer to the stage to see AC/DC.
 
The competition is called the Australian Touring Car Championship.

It's important because it keeps in line with what the class is supposed to be and the merit/integrity of the competition, and the role it plays in motorsport, despite inevitable changes.

Otherwise, any *with can come along (Cochrane) and direct a bunch of idiots (Crompton, Skaife, etc), and * and make it up as they go along.

Guess what's happened for 28 years. A wit came along leading a horde of idiots, and has just made up things as they go along and ** up the integrity of the competition. Satisfying a dumbarse fanbase, jacking off to 5 litre V8s and any expense and to SVG.

"Touring car racing" (And Bathurst 1000) is for the cars that the wider public drives. Mustangs/Camaros belong in "Grand Touring Car racing".

The Motorsport industry in Australia is full of shit, and everyone involved just does what they imagine motorsport in Australia is supposed to be. Then you have airhead fans like Aaron Noonan, who become apologists. "If you want race on Sunday, sell on Monday racing, **** off to the Bahurst 6 hour".

No surprise to me one of you in particular doesn't know that.

Wtf is a "supercar" anyway? It's neither a Flacon, Commodore, Mustang, Camaro, whatever Volvo it was, nor that lame Nissan. They're Porsches, Ferraris, Lambos, etc. But everyone attached to it is too ignorant.

Skaife called Brown as safe 2 mins before he was out. Randle, predictable, he’s a spud. Kostecki did ok in Davo’s car that’s no good. Jess Yates is way hotter in person.

Will be good watching Brown come through the field. I think Wood will let Mostert through if they’re 1-2 after the start, incase of a double stack.
