Can Port Power win a premiership under Josh Carr?

Their supporters all fell in behind the Crows. They now have three teams to support. Their SANFL club, the Crows, and whoever is playing Port.
Norwood could have been in the AFL so it could be worse for Port Adelaide they could be stuck in the SANFL forever like Norwood.

He doesn't need to, all Carr has to do is lose 4 prelims in 13 seasons since a lot of Port fans consider that a great result for some crazed reason.

Port Adelaide could make top 4 next year they've made some tweaks to their playing list/coaching staff and a new game plan could see them play a style that's better suited to finals footy.
If they were serious about going for a premiership, they should have hired a premiership coach instead who could mold them asap with a great preseason with Butters still around. Their best is good enough since they defeated a number of finalist teams in 2025, but were screwed over by abysmal management and I think that attributed to injuries.

Norwoods decision to back the sanfl and not try to join the AFL alongside Port Adelaide must rank as the worst decision ever made by any sporting club anywhere in the world.
