This thread is not about Covid, lockdowns, or vaccines. While Trump was in office during the pandemic and his response to Covid is relevant, there are pertinent threads for you to post your opinions on those topics.

On SRP you are responsible for backing up/verifying your claims to fact. What this means is that you will be asked time to time to support your claims with evidence, to ensure that this forum is as free of misinfomation as we can make it.

Do not post conspiracy theories on this forum. We have an entire other forum for that.
Thanks all.

He was found liable for sexual abuse but has consistently denied the claims. I believe him but the court has found differently.
The charity thing seems to be obviously a fit up given he is worth close to 5 billion and he would never have the need to do it.

That's just my opinion. Some great leaders are arseholes in real life. Hawke was a great PM but a shocking drunk and womaniser. He wouldn't last 6 months these days. Churchill, JFK, Clinton - the list goes on.
He denied the claims, and you believe him. You know who doesn't believe him? The judge that saw all of the evidence and heard all of the testimony.

Maybe if you were across all the evidence you might not believe him - but then again, he did deny it, and it is not like Trump has a history of telling lies, huh? Plus when has a guilty man ever tried denying their guilt - that never happens.

Same with the charity thing - when has a rich person ever committed fraud, that shit just does not happen. Sure, there was all that evidence, but that evidence only proved beyond reasonable doubt...ah, think I found the disconnect: "reasonable" doubt. To a reasonable person there is no doubt. You still have doubts. You are not a reasonable person.

Actually in fairness, was civil not criminal, so balance of probability. You are still not a reasonable person though. That's just my opinion, but think you are pretty close to showing it is fact.

But happy to listen to your concerns about those outcomes - what evidence do you think is not credible, or what new evidence do you have to arrive at your conclusions that differ to the courts? Must be something tangible, surely you wouldn't form an opinion without being across the facts when the facts are all there and available for your to form an informed opinion. Possible the cancer kids were going to buy bazookas, so he took the money to prevent that threat.

Thankyou.
At last someone who offers a civil and balanced argument.

Good arguments. I will have to think about it before responding.

I believe him
Haha, there it is, finally.

Imagine believing what Trump tells you on any given topic, now, in December 2025 :tearsofjoy:

Continuing to disparage, abuse and lecture people whilst engaging in hysterically incorrect and baseless claims and innuendo will not help your 'side' one bit.
Maybe you should stop doing that then?

Happy to discuss actual real issues respectfully - imaginary issues will be dealt with differently.
lol

The really scary thing is you might even truly believe this about yourself.

Yeah nah it’s part of the Sea Lion thing. Pretend you’re a reasonable poster interested in a proper discussion. Post in bad faith until posters get angry or insult you then complain it’s everyone else being unreasonable and hysterical and it’s an echo chamber and no one is interested in the truth except you. Clog up as many pages as possible with shit till people lose interest.
As soon as normal discourse is resumed log back in and begin at step one again.
Got me ****ed what they get out of it.
Unless they’re about 12 & find it hysterical. Oh wait . . .

The entire oligarch project is reliant on flooding the zone with shit, changing the subject endlessly and at all costs denying the truth.

You’re either on the team or you’re not,” Hegseth reportedly told Holsey. “When you get an order, you move out fast and don’t ask questions.”

Running out of gangbangers and 5 year olds
Who knew gangs of five year olds would be so tough to take down.

Couple of terms new to me that I had to google today.

One of them is 'sea-lioning', which I read on here and had to look up.

The other was 'yacht rock', which my Spotify Wrapped accused me of due to having Toto's 'Africa' in a play list.

And I am still a bit offended over that...even though 'yacht rock' was way down the list of genres, I don't like that Spotify ignored that for every one time I listened to Toto, there were at least 5 times that I listened to Leo's metal cover of Africa below.

You can hear about it here - on spotify

Trump probably couldn't even understand why someone rigging a bidding process for a building contract is even illegal.
Standard business practice for him I imagine.

When's the next hysterical, baseless claim coming now that Epstein and Venezuela boat 'saga' seems to have all blown over?
Back to banning abortion again?
How cute.
You'd thought you'd post something tonight.
Too bad no one knows what the **** the point is you are trying to say :drunk:

Allowing a president the ability to pardon anyone like some king making a decree shows you how stupid the entire system is, democracy my ass
I thought US Presidents traditionally delivered pardons at the end of their term?
Donald Trump appears to be selling pardons from the beginning of his term.
A big difference there.
