England’s awfulness has covered up the cracks this summer. Think this loss is a good wake up call.

kinda agree

too many players don't have selection pressure.

Surely this is the first time in cricket where two test matches in a 5 test series finished within 2 days.
As noted Perth and Melbourne will be in the top 4 shortest completed test matches this century (apologies, wrote ever before, incorrectly)

(Can add the Brisbane debacle v Sth Africa a few years back as #5 on that list)

The MCG should lose the boxing day test until they figure out how to consistently get their pitch right.
I've had a shocking run lately with recent deaths in the family, and getting over apretty nasty illness. The one thing I've been looking forward to is day 3 off the boxing day test. Four the first time in 15 years I convinced my dad to take time off during harvest to come across from SA to enjoy the cricket and this one day of joy we've been looking forward to for months has been snatched away by a pathetic curator who can't do their job right.

Seriously, screw the MCG. I know it's just a game but this actually hurts.
They did bring in a new curator in and they were saying how great the pitch was last season it lasting 5 days and an exciting finish

I think the cool weather leading up to the test where it went wrong, and made it too bowler friendly, if they had warmer weather leading up to the test, I reckon they would of been a different outcome

Neser has offered nothing
If we lose this match, which is looking more and more likely, I think it's a bit unfair to blame the bowlers the second time around.

What will have cost us the match is our spineless effort with the bat today. All we had to do was knuckle down, show a bit of fight and batting would have become easier. But this is a very mentally brittle Australian batting side unfortunately, and that was just all too hard for them.

Pretty much a repeat of where England fell down in the first Test.

Which is why you cut it to something under 10mm
