I think, we all have the right to gather and march.....
Peacefully.

ah, we have the old politics of fear happening at the moment, generated by the media and politicians.

So they’re taking responsibility for not taking stronger action against antisemitism?Albo has apologised for the shooting and the antisemitism. Penny Wong has apologised for it. Now Assistant Immigration Minister Matt Thistlethwaite has apologised profusely for the Bondi attacks.
Isn't it time to deal out some punishment?
So they’re taking responsibility for not taking stronger action against antisemitism?
As long as they feel better, that’s all that matters.i dont know if they are taking responsibility. I dont think they said those words. They said that they were sorry for what they did or didnt do. They didnt mention specifics.
Do you want them to say something more specific? What do you want them to say to make you feel better?
crazy how my Account was banned or suspended for 2 weeks.... then This crazy bondi incident happened.I am an absolute anti-Zionist. I recognise that Jewish civilians were targeted at a civilian event to mark the Jewish Festival of Lights known as Hanukkah or Chanukah - both spellings are correct according to this;
It's wrong, this senseless slaughter. Very wrong. What Netanyahu's Israel is doing is an incredible evil but for you to think that this attack on civilians is something we anti-Zionists would applaud is also very, very wrong.
Careful, soon you'll be in hot water when words like rebellion, revolution, uprising, oppression etc are on the banned list.It means rebellion, or uprising. A civilian uprising against oppression.
One solution to what?“There is only one solution - Intifada revolution”
What was my comment?
“ Can’t believe this garbage happened on our streets”
I stand by that.
*your beliefsGawd help us.
When my kids were little, they accompanied me on marches through Melbourne streets.
It was our right to group together for our beliefs....
in our case, workcover, and school closures.
As a show of solidarity with people currently on the end of ethnic cleansing at best, if not outright genocide?I mean you could answer my question?
First of all nothing should be done to the child. It’s simply disappointing to see children lead chants asking for uprising on Australian soil.
Why are they chanting that? For what purpose? So Hamas see the video? Just another chant and protest that does nothing to actually help anything and potentially inflame passions of people from either side.
That's why we have a criminal code, so people who break the law can be excluded from society.I’ve said it in this thread before, and naturally it wasn’t received well. I’ve always thought this was the wrong take. This “unity” that supposedly upsets terrorists so much only amounts to shackling ourselves further. It basically means watch your language, be permanently on egg shells.
I do want to be divided; I want to divide extremists out of our society permanently. You know what I bet terrorists hate more than seeing people carrying on as normal on the beaches of Bondi after they’ve gunned down a ****load of people? Being deported and imprisoned.
Oh believe me, I get it. People get slaughtered in the street and the answer is that the people who did nothing wrong should cop a lecture about how racism is bad. It’s ****ing lame and cowardly. Whatever the “call” of our leaders is, it should have anyone else with Islamic terrorist sympathies shitting themselves. But nope, it’s always on everybody but them.I think you've missed the point of a call to unity. It's not a call to pander to extremists; it's a call to ensure people aren't excluded solely on the basis of their race, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, physical or mental disability etc etc

I’m not sure it will. In reality I think it will just add another layer of bureaucracy to Australia’s commitment to doing as little as possible about Islamic extremism. Can you explain how banning a word will address your concerns?

I doubt Albanese would want an RC because I'd be surprised if they didn't find that Israel's actions in Gaza were at least part responsible for the shooter's motivation and that would be awkward for everyone.
Sure , Nail Penny to a Cross.Albo has apologised for the shooting and the antisemitism. Penny Wong has apologised for it. Now Assistant Immigration Minister Matt Thistlethwaite has apologised profusely for the Bondi attacks.

Probably yeah. Definitely should have had their weapons impounded at least till their trip to Mindinao was properly investigated.
Altho people who go to Mindinao and disappear off the radar for a while shouldn't be considered terrorists. Its something I'm considering doing at some point.
Nah, you don't get it.Oh believe me, I get it. People get slaughtered in the street and the answer is that the people who did nothing wrong should cop a lecture about how racism is bad. I'm sure the Palestinians think likewise.that said I would be dirty as **** if fighting a defensive war. No such thing as war crimes in my mind defending land, and I suppose there could be a line between targeting energy facilities/ manufacturing inside the country that is invading me and killing civilians
I suppose Netty could be thinking this is still some form of defensive war
