Edwards, Polk, Hoffman and Wiltshire have really put their hands up today.

You'd reckon the first 3 are near certainties to debut this year and Wiltshire might have Stengle's spot early on.

This board in shambles with Wiltshire and Pike looking decent. Pretty sure there was talk of them being the worst listed players in afl history last year when we resigned them.

Never nice being down to the old enemy (even in pre-season!) but that's all we needed out of today realistically.

Honestly thought we might lose by 60-80pts after seeing our lack of experience yesterday, so to be tracking okay, and getting some good flashes from the youngsters is a decent day out IMO.

Polk and Hoff in particular have been very impressive. Not just flashes, they've actually looked up to the level.
