11 injuries after round 3. A wrist a shoulder and NINE leg injuries to players young and old. So many TBC's and injuries we've been accustomed to taking 3-4 blowing out to 8-10. Our CEO Dunne is a peanut. We're alligned with Alligned Leisure (CEO's former gig) so it should be his forte to be in the know to land the best in the business. As I've previously stated pay top $$ for the best in the business. Get creative with accounting by getting alligned to pay 40% of their salary (for all the consulting and work they do in the off season/ part time). Yze's the lowest paid coach so should have room in soft cap anyway. Judson was mismanaged, Smillie most likely too. This bloke's proof is in the pudding: we're both slow and leg injury prone, running specialist my arse!

I think he is doing ok

Armstrong- foot (unlucky not performance related)
Nank and Lynch hammy problems is part of a broader afl issue
Broad calf again and old guy getting a soft tissue injury.
Smilie is being managed well. They have identified the issue and are correcting it.

They proof of the program will be at the end of the season not now

I'd take the Alger medial out of that list of soft tissue leg injuries - was a contact injury so implying it's a load/training/conditioning issue is disengious.

No issue with the idea of paying for the best though.

Perhaps!!!!! But NINE leg injuries at round 3 are too coincidental to not lump partial blame on the serpent. Let's not forget how many other players on the list are recovering from leg injuries also. How many are carrying niggles that can't afford to be rested due to 11 injuries. With a near full squad they might be able to freshen up. I mean Lefau should be eased into Max 80% gametime as a fwd coming back from a knee, not smashed in the ruck and shouldering too much to protect the kids.

When does the list come out? It’s usually Mondays isn’t it?

It's supposed to. He's probably too anxious to release it and now his sphincter won't unclench as Louie Meehan warned him on his handover that the Bigfooty nuffies will come for him and give him an appropriate nickname like the Punt Rd slasher, then its only a matter of time before his only job offers are volunteering for a W program for free. I mean the serpent is quite fitting but give people time and he'll have a cracker of a moniker.

Did you forget that Lefau returned from the knee last year in round 16? He only missed the start of this season because he got pissed and tried to drive home.

Injury list is not required to be lodged until Tuesday 5pm according to AFL guidelines. For some reason we've been getting it earlier so far this season.

Lalor had an issue before he was drafted.
Armstrongs hammy was a contact injury at training.

How the club let a sports science guy that performed well in our flag era leave is beyond me.
Hawks would of offered large $$ and it was when we had a cap on offfield spending. We also still had Dimma on the books at the time. It would of just been a money issue IMO.

Points to a issue with conditioning
