Geelong trade Dean Gore to Adelaide for Dangerfield - a couple of years later...

Geelong didn't win the trade, they only inherited an egomaniac AND a non-team focused player. He will never win a premiership medal, and Dusty Martin is 10 times a better player AND a better human.
Surely you're running out of glue sticks to lick by now!?

That is technically correct as he followed Paddy straight back home.

;)
The funny thing is he's actually from SA.
After seeing that recruiting him (pick 55 with 0 AFL games) made a full front page story you can see why he wanted to get the f*k outta there ASAP.

Get ****ed? Hahaha! The Crows are now actively chasing away home grown lads?

With Dangerfield and Ablett and the endless top ups since 2011 it just demonstrates the Cats’ favour individual transactions over team success.
Richmond clearly favour using a thousand monkeys, with a thousand typewriters and 27 years to come up with a decent gameplan to win a flag. It is sad those monkeys were actually working at WB, and you stole it from them - who will Hardwick copy next year? Ah, * it - who gives a s**t, you will be irrelevant again next year.

You got it arse about, flog. We invite you to join the elite club of high performing AFL teams, not the other way round. At the moment, that is Brisbane, Geelong and Hawthorn only - the rest of you minnows can GAGF.

The point isn't that he's s**t. The point is we traded him out. For Patrick F*cking Dangerfield! Then we got him back again. For nothing!:)
But you could have got Dangerfield for free.

Yet you paid.

Then you got shitter than Adelaide.

Then they over took you on the ladder.

We could have taken him for free had we came up with a 1.2-1.3m contract to out-price the Crows, then have to trade out one of our up and comers like Duncan due to the salary cap squeeze. Alternatively, we could trade them Dean Gore, pay him 800k, keep all our guns, then bring back Dean Gore for free a couple of years later. #winning

Yeah nah, Radelaide were better than us this year anyway. So were Richmond. There was a clear gap between them two and the rest during the finals - Geelong still had a few pieces missing from what might eventually be a fine Premiership Puzzle.

And Dangerfield for free the first time? How so? The Crows weren't gonna just give him away.

Are you still winning since Adelaide have over taken you on the ladder?
