Just about every player who moves clubs says something similar after their first preseason. It's meaningless fluff designed to appease their new supporter base.

No it was probably sent to me because I’m someone with a club membership and a Victorian address.

Kids I assume, but I think their lame detectors would have exploded. Thing is, to get engagement you have to get the parents to believe attending would be bearable. Instead it's like "no Jimmy, don't look at the AFLX ads. It's a silly place."
