Probably someone unexpected who's about 21-23 years old now.

It's rarely a first draft pick, but more someone who just keeps getting better when others reach their limit.

I'd give more chance to Dangerfield and Fyfe than young guys like O'Meara. But it could also be a guy like Sloane or Zorko who has some special attributes then trains hard and adds a bit to areas where they were lacking.
Great post

Fyfe, Heppell, David Swallow

edit: me along with others seem to think only midfielders exist in this sport... oops
2 ****ed by injuries and one got banned, 2 more years though I may be right!

Currently, yeah probably one of those 5. By the back end of the season (when the 5 year period ends) I could see a number of players potentially being in that list. Any of:
  • Grundy
  • Cripps
  • Bont
  • Oliver
  • Neale
  • Treloar
  • Kelly

Plus there's more players who aren't outside the realm of possibility, but maybe less likely:
  • Sidebottom
  • Zorko
  • Macrae
  • Heeney

I don't wanna hear another word about Sidebottom or Pendlebury or Grundy after their GF performances.

Get 50 touches or 70 hitouts against deadbeat teams then you put up that sort of performance in the GF... Please.
