The Dog Beach in the photo is actually North Coogee Dog Beach; which is different to the actual South Beach (demonstrated by the fact the former South Beach Station is outside of the North Coogee border).

I love going through Google maps and looking at oddities on the world's borders. I have also done this with Perth's suburbs but it's not as interesting. Kewdale's borders are all over the shop though.

The bit surrounded in red is North Coogee, according to Google. But what would they know. South Beach station is closer to North Coogee dog beach than the South Beach dog beach you regularly whinge about anyway.

Are the riff raff allowed south of the groyne that separates South Fremantle and North Coogee? Most people at South Beach would consider the dog beach area opposite the cafe part of South Beach. But they'd all be wrong too. And probably from some shit outer suburb like Kardinya.

A new place has opened in Bayswater and while expensive, it isn't the Bayswater Hotel or the Pen in Maylands.

Been working in Fremantle for the last 6 months and I have to say, the homeless are the most violent I've ever experienced. Routinely verbally attacked in the street, with regular threats of physical violence. I'm not a small bloke, and have my hand sin my pockets and head down. Does nothing to deter them.

I used to work at the Perth Children's Court by McGivor and that place was nothing compared to this.

Freo has always been a bit dodgy being a tourist type town but it's definitely worse than before. We don't even bother going there anymore unless its to the movies. They need to clean it up a bit
