To say that Scott Morrison and Bill Shorten will be nervous about the final results of the NSW state election would be merely an understatement.

Because it could have a big impact in the way the federal election pans out in May.

If the LNP gets flogged then that's very bad news, but a narrow defeat/victory won't mean much of anything IMO. The NSW ALP by all accounts are less competent and more corrupt than the Victorian branch, after all.
