He’s a good player but I don’t rate him as highly as others and not quite with the best mids either. He’s a contested beast but he also fumbles a bit, is a bit cumbersome and to be honest I rarely recall seeing a possession that makes me think “ yeah that’s your goal “

Tom Mitchell get talked down for his use of the ball but I reckon he makes more of his touches than Cripps does

Sydney applied no pressure in the first half - basically rocked up expecting to win. Bulldogs worked harder. In the second half when Sydney applied more pressure the Bulldogs went to water and it was only in the last few minutes they were able to steady the ship. I honestly believe if we bring the same pressure and defensive structure that we did v Adelaide we'll beat them comfortably.

I’m not expecting a walk in the park. Dogs were great around the contest and too slick for Sydney. They (Sydney) only got back into the contest because the dogs ran out of puff.
