Fair enough. Don't think there's a possibility first game of the season plays a part?

It does. But in terms of neutrals there would have been very few on the night.

Richmond and Collingwood are both strong premiership contenders. I know if Carlton were a chance for a flag I would be getting to a lot more games.

Two teams with massive membership numbers and you would assume still supporters hungry for further success should get more than 70k on a perfect night at the MCG. 70k is not good enough for Magpies Tigers, two of the big four.

Blame Richmond fans. Their home game and they claim to have 95,000 members at the moment. If Richmond were truly that big they would draw 90,000 to all their home games at the mcg.

Also Thursday night and work is on the next day so a lot of family’s will not get back till midnight so
That has reduced the attendance by 10-15,000

Tiges were so brave last night. So brave, injuries and those dirty umpires cost them the game i thought. So brave. So brave.

Brave??? They had 2 players out and lost by 7 goals.

Collingwood last year have on average 10 of our best 22 out in 2018 and yet we made the grand final. Now that’s brave
